Outpost Rush (and later, Arenas) should be Cross-Server

I like the way the dungeon grouping works. Not that hard to find a group. I hope they don’t add a dungeon finder it will become mindless and people will just leave whenever they want and que up later.

Makes sense, I don’t think the dungeon fear is applicable.

There is instanced PvP you que for, so it should make sense it’s cross server.

There’s no que for dungeons. Those people would be asking for a complete different thing. I loved dungeon ques in Wrath of the Litch King admittedly. That’s when I first started MMOs too.

So down for cross server outpost rush

Not sure there’s any good argument against it.

Agreed. The most fun I had was in outpost rush and its a shame when it was available the queue was so long.

Yeah 31 minute queues aren’t really tenable… and that’s this early in the server lifespan.

I agree with this idea, the interface is already there on the surface so it makes sense to build out the backend that can support it.

They can’t fix outpost rush as it stands. You think they’ll have the brain power to make it cross server lol

Agree, should be cross-server! But honestly for the moment I’d be happy if you could play it in the first place.

It probably will end up cross server eventually but not anytime soon. I’m personally not a fan of large cross server pools. Being able to see repeat people and develop rivalries is quite enjoyable.

At the cost of not being able to play during non-prime time hours because there isn’t enough people queuing. Literally every MMO I’ve quit since I started in 1998(UO), I’ve quit due to either a lack of pvp opponents or long queue times for instanced pvp.

Yes, this exceedingly important, it would be less so if there was other PVP content outside of primetime but there most assuredly isn’t. You’ve got primetime wars, sometimes, for some percentage of the player population - But otherwise, nada.

100% adding cross servers to outpost rush is a MUST! also having a full premade group vs another premade group would be cool and then if you’re solo a bunch of randoms would be pretty okay and balanced

( don’t know if that makes sense )

Also arenas will make the game playable for longer amounts of time imagine also esports and ranked arenas…

How about another 10v10 mode or 2v2 3v3 even 4v4… now that will be awesome.

Also Wars are fun too, what’s not fun is waiting a full day just to get some of that war action lol

That may be true. But that will cause cries for balancing based on arenas (bye healer/tank hybrid specs) that will go against the balancing goals of wars and outpost rush. This will inevitably break balance in both and piss everyone off. Balancing for both small and large scale just doesn’t work in games like this, the devs have to pick one and do their best to balance that one. And this game should go for large scale as Wars are a key feature of the game.

I agree. I had quit tbc later on when i had to wait 45-1hr just to be queued into a bg.

anyways, adding cross servers would be good for the game.
During closed beta and now when they re-enabled the game I had to wait 30+ mins just for a queue and I was in a popular server. it really sucks.

They can’t even get server transfers done right. Cross-server play? LUL

They can’t even get Outpost Rush in a playable state, how about they enable it first then we can discuss cross server play.

+1. This is exactly what I’m hoping for!

Please put on this on the roadmap. Please.

Agreed!
