Outpost rush disabled after 4h

If we’re going off D&D rules any caster would suffer penalties wearing heavy armor because it’d be difficult for spells requiring fluid movement. I think the same should apply to NW since heavy also decreases damage bonus it should either decrease mana regen, max mana, or increase cast time (maybe even a mix of all 3!). Then you can get perks on your gear for “battlemage” which would either reduce the negative effects of heavy armor or reduce them a certain % similarly to fall off damage perk you can get for musket. Same for ranged characters.

And if we’re going off of real life rules anyone swinging a melee weapon or using those abilities would be consuming stamina.

Once you have to consume a resource just to use abilities or even light/heavy attack just like casters we can take another look at what needs balancing.

I agree, heavy attacks should cost stamina and with increased CON you should have more of a stamina pool, and INT should increase your mana pool not FOC. STR should reduce the amount of stamina used on heavy attacks, and DEX should increase attack speed or lowered stamina usage on dodge. It shouldn’t be locked behind milestones imo.

I had the same thoughts when reading his post. Allowing players to wear whatever they want regardless of weapon ability is one of the many reasons I enjoy this game. I guess some players really can’t let go of their cookie cutter MMOs.

I don’t think u understand

Heavy armor rn is extremely powerful. Like too powerful. IT has too much damage mitigation.

no im aware lol. why eyeroll that everyone is using it? its like this every MMO and RPG when a base knows what is BIS they will always use it. these are things they need to work on before splitting the base even further.

I don’t think he doesn’t appreciate the flexibility of character builds, more so it sucks that that is the only viable build available for pvp.

Having light armor is kind of a waste. The mobility doesn’t make up for the damage mitigation.

Even weapons like muskets are absolutely useless because of how little it damages heavy armored people

i think weapons in general need a rework. I myself am forced to use the gaxe/hatch combo because the game just does not like when i solo with anything else. same with armor i would love to go light but all the good armor is heavy, main stats in this game are confusing me to and me it tidious to armor up.

The thing is in this game, there’s no stat drawback in wearing heavy armor. Its just a different roll

This game doesnt allow players to wear whatever they want lmao. You cant be a mage with a sword and a shield…

Whatever “weapons” you use determine your class. Not sure what you dont understand…

It was loads of fun although AI of summoned stuff wasn’t working, the map didn’t work, the outpost rush UI didn’t work, I still had a blast with friends tho.

Ofc you would see that, do you realize the medium and light armor bonuses don’t work for increased healing and dmage?!

Im aware the light armor healing bonus does not work. The dmg one works but its not good enough. Im not blaming ppl who use heavy armor. Ofcourse u would use heavy when it offers superior dmg reductions and no drawback what so ever. It is a faulty game design. Wheres the diversity? Its boring and unimaginative and i find myself not interested to login as often.

Also the major portal chest drops were removed from 65 corruption portals.

Any idea when they might have it up again?

Leveling my Furniture making right now, but that’s gonna get boring pretty quick z.z

Don’t you undertand? WE are the testers. We paid 40 bucks to test this game.

It does, they lose 20% damage buff over being in light armor… imagine if half were in light armor and nuked you even faster…

The light armor damage increase does not work it’s only 8% damage increase that doesn’t justify using light armor also fire staff rune off Helios does any work either and does not give a 30% damage increase either.

Its not 20%. Its more like 10%. Light armor could use some armor/spell penetration passsives.

I’m literally just talking about the tooltip… It says light armor gives 20% damage and healing buff… If it’s not actually performing to that standard that’s an entirely different conversation.
