On our server (Aaru) Outpost Rush is dead. Beeing in queue for several hours at a sunday. Queue says 4 of 40 queued players.
Why? We had several pvp teams dominating outpost rush. You were the lucky one if you were assigned to them or the loser if not. They rush you (using spawn bug), camp your start position and you were the stupid one who couldn’t do anything about it. So far there has been at least reasonable compensation for it, so some players have done it anyway. But after the adjustments made in the last patch, almost no one plays Outpost Rush anymore because it’s absolutely no fun and the pay is too low.
Some ideas:
- Place a strong portal guard in front of spawn points, so enemys cant camp the spawn location or create some kind of corruption which weakens enemys when beeing too near to spawn location of enemy team.
- Groups organized in Discord are just way too strong against solo players. There should be a compensation for solo players (maybe increase ressource gains for solo players) or deactivate the group feature.
- Determine player winnings based on the number of Outpost Rushs that have occurred in the last 24 hours. When few have taken place, increase the profits
- Make a daily quest with good profit, so every player wants to do at least one rush a day.
