Outpost Rush is very broken, needs to be re-disabled - PERMANENTLY STUCK

WARNING: You can still get permanently stuck in a loading screen after Outpost Rush ends, just one of many issues.

  • What is your character name in New World: Salty Tears, my friend “Lyanisu” is permanently stuck in a loading screen, even after restarting
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Krocylea
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Outpost Rush has been re-enabled and has a ton of issues still:
  • UI doesn’t work at all, no score and no map, you can see the map if you drag it to the left but it resets and doesn’t show any actual terrain, just points.
  • If you try to use summoning stones you will get stuck and can’t place the stone, have to use unstuck to fix
  • There’s massive server lag during heavy fights, similar to wars
  • Enemy players show up as blue, white or red randomly - can’t tell who is an ally and who is an enemy until they attack you or you attack them
  • Damage numbers sometimes don’t show up when hitting players
  • After the game ends you can run around, have to use the “Leave Outpost Rush” button in the main menu by unstuck
  • After leaving Outpost Rush you can get stuck in an infinite loading screen again
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Unable to properly play Outpost Rush and my party member got stuck in a loading screen (after leaving) and had to restart the game
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No, Outpost Rush UI was broken the entire time

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Queue up for Outpost Rush and join the match, wait for it to end and then try to leave to see if you get stuck

Ive got this issue, how do i get out of the infinite Loading screen?

After 5-10 min my friend loaded into the world in the dead state, teleporting between points and when trying to respawn you get into the loading screen again.

Bump, I can’t believe you guys would enable Outpost Rush on a Friday evening and not be around to unstuck players if it still had issues.

I had no issues except lack of UI and server lags, so it was really nice experience :smiley: First thing i really enjoy in this game. Hope they fix it asap

Was an easy fix just restart the game since this happens post match, and not always, happend to one or two off us out of 100+, but was solved by quick game restart, not a game breaking issue. Shutting off outpost rush for this was almost moronic because it causes more player unhappiness, economic and travel issues to have it off, especially since end portal chests got disabled. It happens more in house design than outpost rush but housing isn’t turned off…

Restarting game didn’t resolve the issue for me you’re one of the lucky few
