Feel the same way about my Hatchet losing stagger on social distance so that I can throw it while running at people. Hate the change.

Even for myself. Im annoyed that social distance got nerfed on hatchet and i have a nice fs/bb setup so i was like hmm lets try this instead to be in less of a bad mood haha
That’s true lol. I bought a BiS fire staff when the buff came out just in case it was bugged and overpowered.

The worst point in OPR was when everyone was running around with GA/WG and GA/IG
One shot BB/S&S builds weren’t fun neither. Could 1 shot everyone in light, med, and heavy.
But that’s the thing. Despite FS being not rly good. It’s more FUN. Be it due to the statpadding, the more safety, whatever.

I said it before I stopped to play OPR after playing bow for 3 weeks. It feels so insanely unfair it’s not even fun for me anymore. As PvP’er this is total bs lol
Agree the melee hate is super annoying. I play gs/hatchet and have fun if i go solo back capping only usually.
Played fs/bb for first time in a week (meaning a tad rusty and NO mortar) and i placed 2nd overall even in a losing match and had a blast.
All the hate is for my other build tho lol
I loved playing opr until the buffs to bows and then mortal empowerment to muskets. I hate it now, I’ve been complaining for quite some time. Feels good that everyone else is catching on. Aim botting is becoming very popular as well, even bow players snap to you, musket players hip fire way more than they ever have before. If they get all the free ammo in the world, why don’t we get free health pots at least? The game mode is so unbalanced it’s laughable. AGS is laughing at everyone that isn’t ranged while reading these messages. Shame on them for not having a good anti cheat that works with their code, shame on them for not knowing how to balance, shame on them for at a minimum not fixing the map for more los protection.
If you can hit for 5k with 400 dex, why cant my vg/fs/ig hit for 5k with 400 int with autos? Balance the game! Bow players can hit me more times than I can hit them with IG autos, IG autos are miserable. Maybe IG should get a huge boost in damage! Honestly no, but bow and musket damage is off the charts and the weapons need their damage severely reduced immediately.
Bow got overall nerf and melees are crying that OPR is now worse than ever. It’s pretty obvious what’s funny about it.
I mean it will probably pass but a LOT of people are testing changes to new ranged changes and my OPRs have been almost entirely ranged.
I didnt cry about it. I swapped to FS/BB and fireballed them from ranged myself.

Depends how you add up the damage. I can delete a GS player in onslaught in like 2 seconds?
Nice. I was thinking about trying that. When I come back. You running it in light or medium? I usually run igbb or vgig but bought that fire staff for pairing w/bb.
one auto from FS, you aren’t hitting for 5k even with 400 int. Neither should bows or muskets.
For FS/BB i do light bc the goal is big burst but i know someone who likes it in medium. I do ig/bb also and that one i play either way.
You didnt specify what attack or anything. No a charged heavy crit is more like 3kish usually.
Exactly, that’s crazy to me. Do you think a good bow player will hit you as much as you hit him, both firing heavy’s at say 25 meter distance?
Oh no bow definitely out classes mage in the ranged department. Hell the fire auto vanishes into thin air before it gets to them depending how far they are.
Which like…why? Apparently magic is weaker than primitive bow and arrow lol. The projectile is also slower so harder to hit a moving target.
Edit: ranged usually run stuff to protect from other ranged tho so if you land say a heavy + fireball combo they almost instantly die lol
That’s why mage is also dependent. If there’s too many muskets/bows you can’t play that either in OPR. Since they hardcounter mage, you can’t reach them but they 3shot you
