With that being said, let’s dive deeper into these arguments shall we?
Premade groups - they should stay because if i want to play with someone then just let me do it. As some forumers might say, cuz you play solo because you have no friends doesn’t mean others should also play solo.
The map - I don’t see any problem with map. The real problem with backcapping is that is really effective because there is just 20 people. But there is solution already in the game! Just build and upgrade gates! I know, you play opr for pvp not for pve, but then stop complaining that someone is backcapping because you could prevent that, you just decided to not to and complain on forum.
The Baroness - I am playing League of Legends and last-hitting the objectives (named steal) makes sense to me.
Healing - Oh my… never ending story, always the same. I can agree, that there is way too few amount of healing reduction. That is indeed problem. But if we talk about overall amount of healing, then it’s just how the game works. If we talk about fighting the healers, yes, it is problematic, it is annoying, it is frustrating, but it may help the team as the healers will be more focused on healing self and not team, or they are forced to back off. Just think of it as interupting healers do their job and not as “me see heal, me must kill”.
Stun locks - this is also game mechanics. I’m sorry but there is dodge, and block, and if you fell into stun lock then well, unlucky for you. Again, I am playing also League of Legends and I know how the stun lock work and at what conditions. In New World it’s about team coordination and not smashing every stun skill cuz in that case you can easily roll out.
So everything you see is just how the game works, because that’s how it works.
Now I don’t say the OPR is perfect without floss, because it isn’t, but it’s not because of that points you mentioned, because you can experience some of this thing in open world pvp and wars and what then? You will also complain you got stun-locked in wars and make a post that Wars need a ton of changes? The problem in OPR is people mentality, and rewarding players for making damage, and not rewarding for playing around points, tanking etc. That’s why there is a lot of bow/musket players are present, because these weapons are just most rewarding in terms of points, and points = rewards
