I understand the individual upgrades (armor, jewelry, weapons) and even maybe the time-gate on getting the gypsum to craft the gypsum orbs but time-gating all three is excessive.
Basically if you don’t immediately craft the orb you are losing progress. Its taking the fun out of the game for me because I feel obligated to abide by the time constraints making sure I keep all 3 lined up otherwise it becomes a huge headache to know when I can craft one or when I can get one.
It has really sucked the remaining fun out of the game for me and my group.
They just need to make sure that all global kds are reset early in the morning, for example at 5 o’clock in the morning. This applies to gypsum, elite chests, asmodeum and everything else with a cooldown per day.
Can someone explain to me, why there is a resource tied to this mechanic? Why not just give straight expertise drops when you complete your daily chores. Why you have to travel to Kiln to craft resources?
What is the reason for extra system layer as the goal could be reach without it?
I don’t mind being able to choose what I want upgraded but 3 different time-gates is absolutely idiotic. It also doesn’t help that once you get to 587 “expertise” they start increasing “expertise” by only ONE making it take 3 days to reach 590.
Please stop making your game so much grind with no reward.
They give 1 and take 2 away. They made gear score upgrades from elites and chests a lot harder to get and then added a way to make sure you get at least 1 upgrade a day. Even level 60 silver and golden elites drop trash 500 gs drops now when they used to drop up to your watermark or “expertise” as they call it out.
AGS will never give you something beneficial to you without nerfing something in the background that makes it not a gain in the long run.
