I never gave much time to NW during beta and so I’m still learning much of how this works. However, I’ve been wanting to create a good solo, jack-of-all-trades type paladin build. From what I’ve read, the best option is to go with sword/shield + healing staff and focus on intelligence and stamina. Some suggest to use heavy armor as well.
Do you all have any suggestions or advice if you have tried something like this already?

Go heavy armor, and 3 con for every point in str… don’t bother with focus you can get focus items… this is classic tank build, it’s also pretty strong in pvp.
You don’t really need strength with the paladin build unless you are trying to make a dps paladin. If tank build go constitution/focus get strength from items. Your tankiness will be insane. Strong healing/fortifying, and some cc.
There are a few different versions of the paladin build also, they all work. Just gotta find the one that fits your playstyle and content.
The paladin build is on the weaker side early game. starts scaling well 25+
