Ours went even worse.
From 800 to 200 average population in 4 weeks. What a joke…
I’m not arguing that patch 1.1 seriously impacted motivation due to all the Elite area difficulty increases. But in the US it’s the weekend before Thanksgiving. There is a chance that the numbers are lower this weekend because people are traveling.
graphs dont lie.
Most of our prior server Yama merged into Adiri because Yama server was dying.
Adiri last night pulled the numbers that Yama was pulling when we decided to leave Yama. Two and half weeks ago when most of the sever merged Adiri hit almost 1500 people online. Last night it couldn’t even get to 850.
Yes we’re all aware of the free transfers and the upcoming merges. What you don’t realize is that some people used their free transfer to a dying server or began dying since 1.1. Because some people (like myself) refuse to wait in any type of queue to play a game in 2021. Its absolute bullshit. I fortunatley transferred to relatively healthy server but not everyone did. besides the point
Point =
Pretty good points
637 hours played and I think I am done. Got my moneys worth and its time to move on. This game will never be an MMO mainstay, let it die like it deserves to.
quel poête !!!
ya it killed mine. Between the low pop server i am on and the terrible lag in wars at 520 hours i think i am done. Really wished the game was better but the game clearly isn’t ready for more than beta. The gear is clearly broken.
You cant do some solo runs that you done before this is another annoying thing
Become a mixologist and cost is super low
Server merges wont fix the problem.
The same reasons that cause the population decline will happen again after a server merge.
Then reset the hwm for everyone and make them grind it again with these changes, see how many people you have left.
Shut up with your elitist attitutude… ‘needed to be even harder’, no it most certainly did not.
This isn’t a job and you need to get your head out of your ass and realise that you’re going to be left with exactly those 20 30 people peaks if this thought process keeps going on.
I am going to point out, it’s the week before Thanksgiving and many college/university/school students have final tests, before their finals coming up. Not saying servers are not declining but saying a lot of students aren’t able to play like they used to because of last minute cramming to pass classes. Parents also have not seen students who went home for break and may be “forcing” them to spend time with family that’s in town instead of gaming. Ill build a judgement for the game once this semester is over.
Again, not disagreeing but thinking it MAY just be a slump.
Opinion as a university student who stopped playing as much for that reason, and Forza 5.
Thats maybe the case for US Servers - these problem is also holding on on EU Servers where there is no thanksgiving or other related irl stuff which would help to argument about it. Even worse, we have some countrys with a lockdown, distance learning etc. so the active players should be raising instead of dropping.
True, but I can only speak for the part I’m in. EU could have different circumstances that are lowering the servers in this dip than America. America’s issues are only a slim possibility, but it does line up. I’m only being slightly optimistic as if I wanted to play I definitely have the time.
I am transfer 2 days ago, only one change - easy to play Outpost Rush. All others - the same. Problem not in the population, problem in game … no intresting content after 60s, just farming gear score and no other way to play. Of farm gold and buy items from the high GS players, who have all that gear just from the regular mobs for easy …
No balance, a lot of bugs and no chance to solve them in the near future …
So true! Putting fires out!!!
What most people fail to realize is that MOST people who play this game don’t read patch notes, they don’t read the forum, they don’t care about what you people are complaining about.
They just login and play the game.
If they aren’t enjoying themselves, they don’t make a huge post about why they’re leaving, they just leave.
I’d suggest if you enjoy the game, play it. Things will get fixed.
If you’re not enjoying it, then I’d ask why you’re even still here?
Real simple.
It is not that simple. This is not chess or Mario.
This is an MMO, people are naturally way more interested in the complexity of the game, in the data behind the scenes, in frequent updates, new content and bugfixes. And the MMO playerbase is different from the FPS or MOBA playerbase. Way different. This is why forums thrive for such communities while with shooters etc. they do not - the crowd just prefers different formats, they rather go on Twitter and click on a link to read the patchnotes or devblogs.
Most players i know do care about what is happening with the game and the servers.
