The Character Transfer video shows the ability to transfer a character “Within a World Set”, however during launch entire World Set’s had server character creation disabled so it wasn’t even possible for some of our friends, family, and company-mates to create characters on the same world set. This doesn’t seem to actually solve the problem for what could likely be a large majority of folks seeking to play with their friends, family, and company-mates that have been patiently leveling on other worlds awaiting this very day.
Am I missing something, or is this legit (that it will be same world set transfers only)?
Please tell me you fixed the cristal quest at the malovelence tower & the priest bug that resets his HP everytime he moves 1 meter away from where he is originally… Both are the quest to get 580 gear score items (great axe & warhammer) and i’m stuck because of this
It will initially unlock only in Southeast Asia. If all goes well all regions. I didn’t watch the vid but they never said this would be even further limited to world sets. Simply by region. If it is indeed stuck to world sets as well, well way more people are going to quit im sure.
no, you ALWYS paid the taxes based on the 20k… the ui now reflects this (people were complaining they were buying the expensive houses and getting whacked with the high taxes without warning, now they have warning)
Thanks for clarification, I re-watched the video and you’re right - it shows Region, and multiple World Set’s are listed in the video. :whew: got worried for a sec. My bad.
Our over here in US East starts in 30 minutes, which is 1 Am. I’ve always thought game patches should roll around that time when most people are sleeping. Doing it during the day time never made any sense to me.
I can only imagine the kind of person who would prefer one-sided victory over a balanced server, and then I can only be grateful that they’ll leave my server on their own. A real win-win, if you ask me.
What about all the broken multi spawns in Reekwater? they’re way worse than the tiger since they stop multiple questlines. The tiger(s) you can just sneak by.
You can’t check map control from outside the game right now, so no way to tell if you have no friend on the server. (This was answered in the transfer Q&A)
That is still worrying, because many ppl, to avoid Queus went into different servers but not different World Sets. They did that without much informations how server transfers will be executed. Now, based on information from news, seems like you wont be able to transfer character into same World Set. Only possible solution to this would be using 2 tokens so you 1st transfer out of World Set and then transfer back to same World Set but different server.
