Hi, thought I’d make a thread just to add to the pile.
My whole PC locks up, sound stops, keyboard and mouse unresponsive, requires hard shut down to recover.
Happened 2 times in my first 3 hours of playing. Didn’t have this issue in beta.
Tried all fixes from the forum post to no avail, any help is appreciated, especially on the refund front.
I too am experiencing this issue. I’m worried about damaging my PC. I’ve capped my frame rates, and made all the adjustments recommended to avoid damaging my GPU, but it still deadlocks. No defined moment either. I can happen as easily in combat as it can just walking about.
You should be worried. I had this issue once and i stopped playing immediately, youre lucky that your GPU hasnt died yet if you crashed like this multiple times.
Bump. Here too. Random and inconsistent. More so after the last (first) patch. Last night was awful.
FYI. Got a refund from amazon. Just talk to amazon support where you bought the game, not the poor excuse for support that is AGS.
