Penalty for abandonment in expeditions

With the arrival of the new Barnacles and Black Powder expedition, a new inconvenience arrived, and that is that of players with little patience and no camaraderie.

This is because they abandon expeditions which is a bit uncomfortable and quite frustrating.

So just as they’ve added penalty on outposts and Arena, it would be a good alternative to put a drop penalty on expeditions.

Such penalty could be cumulative or a general penalty. When I say cumulative, I mean that the same game launches an announcement that you have abandoned an expedition and you will have a period of 5 minutes to access another, but if this person is already a repeat offender in this, you could be penalized up to 24 hours.

Perhaps penalizing a player for 24 hours is somewhat exaggerated, but it is to leave a point for debate, I have been playing NW since before it was released to the public and that inconvenience is something that has always been happening.

It would be good to take this type of action into consideration for all players, since this would focus them more when they are in this type of activity

I knew this will be a problem in the moment they removed the dungeon orbs and introduced Dungeon Finder. I created a topic here in the forum but no actions from AGS. Previously players was paying to enter the dungeon and there were no trolls cuz everyone is spending their own money. Now this psychological boundary is removed, everything is free and trolls appeared. Players with 0 tolerance to the group can leave the dungeon pretty freely without any penalty after the boss wiped the group for example. It will be even bigger problem when Dungeon Finder is pushed to live. AGS needs to take actions here because dungeons will became a troll fest in a weeks
