I went to the bottom of the thread to type something similar. You beat me here. I’ll keep the torches and pitch fork at my side, but I’m not ready to stab at monsters yet until I see more info about this situation. Only have about half of this story.
Seems like a rash of dyslexia here. The message show Pre-release Testing, so PRT. But, most of the posts here are saying it refers to Public Test Realm, so PTR. Neither of the images above are dated, so impossible to tell if these are old or new responses.
I tend to believe what’s written and not what’s imagined and this is stated as Pre-release Testing, so I’m going to go with that unless I see something other than what is listed above.

As finally people are pointing out above, these emails are not referring to the PTR (Public Test Realm) but clearly state Pre-release Test (PRT) which I do believe there were NDA’s for those who played the PRT, and since there is no evidence for when these emails were received this can easily be total BS.
And seeing how many posts here are eagerly criticizing AGS for a post that is more than likely completely illegitimate lets me know how blown out of proportion every issue with this game is.
Nobody else intrigued by the typing indicator at the end of the second screenshot?

The entire post is suspicious as fuck. The “proof” isn’t proof at all and on top of that it doesn’t say PTR/Public test realm - a term they themselves use. It says Pre-release test which sounds like closed beta/alpha stuff. I think OP is full of shit. The CSR’s are bad but there’s literally nothing backing up what the OP said besides a snippet of supposedly support which he could’ve easily typed himself and since we see the typing indicator on the bottom, which shouldn’t be there if he’s reviewing an email, it’s more than likely OP is just stirring shit up for no reason.
0 reason why he would’ve transposed an email into an editable document and why he wouldn’t have taken a snippet instead of the entire email.

Every day these devs do something that makes me believe they haven’t played an MMO before or been apart of a PTR. Hell I don’t believe most of them even play this game, unless they are lvl 10 still. Pre-release Test, imo, would be anything before the game was released not for a public test realm. No way their support is that bad, that the can’t distinguish between the two. Then to have it get appealed and said that it’s final. Did they even show him a quote of what he said and under what forum? Evidence of the reason to be banned would be amazing.

The whole case seems like extremely uninformed Ban Mods who confused rules for the former PRT (Pre-Release Test) with current PTR (Public Test Realm). All NDA’s of the PRT had been lifted with release of the game and you can’t breach an NDA which you have never agreed to.
The other thing that makes we wonder is the edit by the OP stating that a CM contacted the Ban team to get this sorted while in so many other cases of suspected wrongful perma bans they raise their hands saying they can’t do anything at all to intervene. Frankly, the amount of threads here regarding apparently wrongful perma bans is very concerning and most of that could be cleared up if the Ban team would communicate properly their proof and reason.
To give a comparison: The cops can’t just fine you and say “because you violated traffic laws” without giving you the specifics (speeding? When, Where, how much?). AGS only ever cites a section of the rules without telling you what exactly you supposedly did. You always have to do both: Explain the rule and explain how you violated them.

Probably the thing that keeps me most safe is the fact that I don’t know how to chat in game.
