People are quitting out of boredom and frustration at the snoozfest that is endgame. Here's an incredibly easy fix

The most efficient way to grind watermark right now is to do one of a few horribly boring things.

  1. Run around in a circle with a zerg and open a few chests once a day in like 2 areas.
  2. Literally stand in one spot and kill the same mob over and over for 40 hours ish.
  3. Run back and forth in a small area and kill 2 mobs over and over…and over and over.

No wonder people are over it.

Why is this happening? Because the actual intended end game content, Gardens and Lazerus as well as the Arenas are…

  1. Gated behind insane grind for mats for tuning orbs
  2. Not worth doing until you have 590ish gear score

New world Devs there is an easy fix to these issues while you guys sort the end game out in a more permanent way.

  1. Unlock the end game content that already exists (expeditions), and let people do them without barrier to entry BUT lock gear score drops at around 580ish.
  2. Make it so you can enter using a tuning orb which will make the expedition harder but unlocks the final progression of gear score up to gs600.

There now everyone can do your actual content while grinding watermark, and the tuning orbs retain their value for the actual endgame gear that is 580+ and Legendary 600 items.

For the sake of all of our sanity, I hope this suggestion was helpful. Good luck everyone!

I haven’t done Genesis or Lazarus but i have read that they are wipe fests with up to thousands of gold in repairs to complete. That doesn’t sound like fun either.

I like this idea.

Then you heard wrong :joy::joy:.

Lazarus has one hard (ish) boss and that’s the first one… the final boss you can literally do with your eyes closed. (Stand in front and hack away).

Genesis is a little trickier but still none of them are anywhere near wipe fests :grin:
