The discount should have been started right upon release of the Brimstone Sands update along with fresh servers. TOO EARLY TO HYPE IT UP when it is still the same as it was when it comes to the world/repetitive quests/mobs…etc We are back to mixed reviews, thanks AGS!
It is what it is. The game is on a hype train and we cannot turn back now! Game has improved immensely, upcoming content is looking amazing, and PTR feels amazing. They opening up new servers to alleviate the increase in player base and will continue to do so as necessary.
If people feel threatened enough to want to review bomb, then that is their choice. People will keep coming back and enjoying it. People telling them to stop having fun won’t stop the fun train.
Am looking forward to this queue relief though! Can’t come too soon.

This is all part of the plan to instill FOMO in all the haters and drive up interest in the new zone and sword. Make people think it’s a super exclusive club, then everyone wants in. That’s what I’m telling myself, at least.
When people do whatever their favorite youtuber/twitch streamers say. Hype happens. If you like the game play it for yourself and have fun. Really community and rivalry keep the game going. More content is always welcome as long as it’s not rushed out the door with new bugs. When the New content drops 100’s of amateurs try to document it. They read the patch notes in hopes to get followers on YouTube. You could read about it for yourself and play PTR anytime you want if you own the game.
I think the game itself needed/needs many more improvements and additions though, with or without youtubers influencing others.
The devs need time to spin up servers. It’s good to spin up the population in anticipation for the big patch.

Game is good now and Devs merging servers has been the only major mistake recently.
If a game is good people will play it.
The queues are probably the brunt of cause anyways. Good going AGS you made your updates too good now the servers are flooded.
