People Quitting

First I don’t mean any of this as hate. I have been enjoying the game. BUT I haven’t wanted to log in after work because leveling up my crafting is now ridiculous. Yeah, I can harvest wolfs or hemp for an hour. Which will be like 0.1% progress. I hop on the boards, and I see so many people with issues that they “say” are making them quit.

OPR’s are rarer than void ore. Furnishing issues. Servers dead. It goes on and on.
If they don’t start a positive trend bug fix I think they’re about to be in trouble. I’m committed to the game and I don’t want to log in. It’s sad.

Most of us who have been through this MMO song and dance several times before realized this a month ago. The game is directionless, and bug fixes are not coming anywhere close to fast enough to cover the technical debt from rushing this game out the door. If the devs completely ignore content and put 100% into bug fixes, you won’t see new content for 6 months or more.

Stick a fork in it, it’s done.

I’m fine with slow content. There’s always the gear grind. That’s what an MMO is supposed to be. I don’t think they can fix it in six months even if they tried. Were on month two? As far as I can tell this is worse than launch.

By the time you get to a reasonable profession level the server is too dead to sell anything. I got to a reasonable high level in stone crafting and gem cutting and I can’t even sell my pristine cut gems anymore  or when I do the prices have fallen off real bad.

But yea it painfull to see the XP bar go up slowly when crafting higher level stuff. Same with gathering, that is now taking an age to move a level.

Yeah at lvl 60 (200 mining/melting/armourcrafting) I feel its a joy to go farm iron for hours and then chop some trees and then go farm starmetal for another couple of hours… Maybe i get lucky and find some bad gem… instead of farming orichalicum as i should on my lvl… but why? Orichalcium ore is like 0.01 and iron 0,6g…

Yes this economy makes even low tier materials valuable… infact more valuable than high tier… This benefits all low level characters… but oh wait… we are not allowed alts and everyone is 60± so now we are all stuck with this dysfunctional economy… gg

you realize people don’t farm orichalcum node for orichalcum ore?

Yes I know but still, just wanted to point out the pyramid system where 1 ori ingot use a lot of iron… If you dont have a shitton of money to buy iron ingots at 2-3g and starmetal at 6g you need to farm low lvl areas of shit tier and the rares that drop there is shitty gems… at lvl 60 I would like to farm ori for void ore and pristine gems… but noo Im forced to farm iron…

Yes yes I could go farm ori and hope I get a void ore that sells for 2k on my server and then I could spend those 2k on iron… oh no because i actually need to save money to buy 3 houses and pay tax for them and then buy 3 of the same crafting trophies after getting my armourset…

That is if you want a decen chance to craft gs 600 which is the only stuff ppl buy nowadays since there are no alts…

This game has an ill-considered craftsmanship for a bar of orichalcum, for example, you should need 1 bar of starmetal and 30 ores of orichalcum so that the value of these rarer items would be

I’m lucky, there’s plenty of OPR on my sever.
I’m just playing here and there waiting to see if an update helps me enjoy the game. I honestly DONT right now, but I COULD.

well it’s shit tier but it’s worth a lot of money. it’s one of the most reliable way of making gold in the game

anyway, requiring low level mat make sense, it gives an incentive to the players to return to low level zones which is good imo. but yea, I think the amount of T1 needed is a bit exaggerated.

I don’t think many people would make an alt as there’s no class and you can respec almost everything anyway.

It has always been like that, even in the beginning: there is hardly any demand for this game. Only an excessive supply!

Right. Keep the low level material sink but emphasize the most illustrious, high level materials.

Yeah, I realize that… Its kind of a designflaw imho. No replayability… Everyone will be the same level soon and the whole 1-59 game is just wasted…
