I’m checking forum from at the begining of this dupe issue came out. I found out so many users who are insisting there should be rollback seems like suffered loss in these last 3 or 4 days. For example a guy that saying there should be rollback and i shall reopen my smelting aptitude boxes again and might get a smelter set its not fair guys its just pragmatist.
I dont think banning all players also is not fair. I suggest devs that just rollback accounts in duplication process dont touch others if they are able to do so.
Hows it not fair? the problem gets solved and only a week gets erased. Remove the FEB patch and Devs should take time to… well do the best they can. Yet they want to roll out another weapon as a marketing stunt. Imagine if your favorite restaurant made everyone sick with some rushed product and didnt remove it from the menu.
only a week ? in that week people crafted bis items bro think about it too. For instance i earned 400k gold in a week what will happen to player’s legal profits. in my opinion you are suggesting to correct a fault with another fault . If they do such a thing like i said in my other post i would delete my character immediately so there will be no back. Because this would show this game is unreliable for sure
I don’t know where that parallel came. No, that’s an entirely different argument. It also suggests the same sort of logic I’m damning (opening=must be taken).
Well it wasnt an air tight analogy. More like they patched the game / made me sick so I need to throw that shit up in a toilet and flush it down way down. Probably consider never eating there again tbh.
It seems you are saying that cheaters are not at fault. If so your analogy is saying the exact opposite.
So if AGS forgets to correct the code players can abuse that bug makes it the fault of AGS?
When someone enters a house with an unlocked door that person is still Breaking and Entering. It’s still against the law whether the homeowner is an idiot or not.
Honestly I blame the management more than the devs. I think the devs are caught between management being ignorant, and player demands they can’t meet because of that.
I had an unlocked car stolen once. To be fair to myself, I bought the car for $100 six months earlier. It looked like a $100 car, and I treated it as such. I really didn’t think anyone would steal it, but they did.
Anyway, I was not allowed to drop the insurance on it, in case the thief got into an accident with my stolen car. It’s unfortunate, but, yeah, victim-blaming is a pretty common thing to this day.
