Perfect "Expertise" Compromise. This needs attention. From US and AGS

I’ll estimate about a 0.0001% chance they listen to this idea and even mention it in the office.

bump

I think that might be a bit overpowered, in my personal opinion. Though I do think it needs to be a bit better than the way it is for crafters too.

I think it would be more fair that the FIRST TIME you craft a 600 legendary recipe item you should automatically receive a 10 point expertise bump for that item type, considering the work it takes to level crafting AND the expense it takes to gather the necessary items as well as acquire the recipe.

It isn’t a actually “dropped” to you expertise. The item level stays the same, but the item effectively functions AS IF the gear score of the item matched your expertise. Therefore, as your expertise rises, its effectiveness rises to keep pace with your expertise up to the GS value.

Sounds a bit OP actually. I understand since you don’t WM farm you have no actual concept of the time and repetitive nature it takes to get it up there. I’ve been at it for weeks, my armor is 560+ and I’m still 530-555 on all weapons. It actually takes ages.

Anyways, I do understand the time it takes to raise crafts, since I’ve done that too.

So how about this instead: Anytime you craft a item with GS over your WM you have a chance to increase your WM(not straight to 600 +1-10 like you get when looting). This would be actually much more in line with the effort required to get it through killing/looting. New crafters would level up WM in a very natural feeling way. Old crafters would be able to catch up doing the same thing they do every day, continuing to craft and sell goods.

Yeah bro, because grinding multiple professions to 200 (especially post-exp-nerf) is not repetitive or time consuming.

@OP If you think they haven’t considered this, I have a New MMO to sell you.

I guess you can’t read past one sentence without having a mental break-down.

Re-reply if you like after you’ve read and comprehended my entire comment please. Happy to have a discussion, but I won’t deal with temper tantrums based on my first sentence.

Your idea is not worth acknowledging, which is why I didn’t.

Read between the lines.

Then be a civil adult and just say that. Or better yet you could have skipped replying to my comment that wasn’t worth the time to reply to.

I have been very civil. Have a nice day.

Get out there and play the game stop farming

By running in large groups exploiting mob pathing and unreachable aggro reseting safe spots.

You exploiters need HWM reset to 500 to create a fair playing field.

If current non-600 players and future players have to grind & endure this new system… EVERYONE SHOULD!

The fact you guys claim your HWM runs was “long hard work” is a joke… Nothing hard about it at all.

Try actually fighting all the mobs/named and earn your HWM properly like everyone else has to…

sigh
Nothing in this game is “long hard work” - i was simply looking at time…
I must be a pretty bad exploiter if to get my watermark so high took me so long?
That you assume everyone who does these things is exploiting or not fighting mobs is a massive part of your issue…
The fact you didn’t do it, or can’t do it, or chose not to, does not mean others haven’t.
I understand you’re upset with the changes - but to randomly start accusing people, who you don’t know the first thing about - of exploiting isn’t going to garner you any sympathy.
It becomes much harder to see your perspective, and maybe even change mine, if your fallback is attacking what I’ve done in the game while trying to “protect” your own choices.
Its not constructive, and just hurting your cause.

Nope. Because crafting gear is far too easy and you can just do it with bought gold.

All the wallet warriors and pay2win losers get rekt.

so happy for the upcomming changes

This is one point some people seem to be missing.

It could be argued the game is currently pay to win because you can buy gold online and get the best gear. Not cheap but possible if you got the cash.

With the new system you have to work at it to win (mindlessly of course). Unfortunately the dedicated crafters who did their work already are collateral damage.

Ive been on the runs, ive seen the videos & streams…

Dont try and bullshit me. Im not as stupid as the people you surround yourself with…

“The fact you didn’t do it, or can’t do it, or chose not to, does not mean others haven’t.”

How you gonna tell i dont know what you have done, then try and tell me what i have & havent done?

Hypocritical a bit? Or just stupid?

“I understand you’re upset with the changes - but to randomly start accusing people, who you don’t know the first thing about - of exploiting isn’t going to garner you any sympathy.”

Im not upset with the changes at all… Matter of fact im looking forward to them… They just didnt get it done quite right, in a way thats fair for everyone… Pve, crafters, & pvp’ers… If you didnt realize that from my post… You should start reading things before responding…

Then why is it fair that HWM stays the same… But gatherers, crafters, and pvp’ers get shafted?

They spent time as well…

The fact you dont see the unfairness in these changes says 1 thing…

You’re just looking out for yourself.

I dont care about any more invalid points you make…

Its clear you rolled in on the short bus.

yeah righto… whatever you say.
I’ll just chill here with my many 200 crafts (it was really hard…) and my high wm (also really hard) and see you in the next patch. Or not I guess. glhf.

well, i hope you enjoy the game you leave NW for! See ya! :+1::v:

I’m not leaving haha - i just assumed with all the tears you might be? See u in game!

P2W doesn’t refer to that (3rd party getting you the in-game advantage for cash), but rather for the company that runs the game doing it. By your definition every game under the sun would be P2W, because you can buy virtually anything, including complete accounts.

Not really. You can buy “power levelling” (or “increasing HWM” in this case) services from the same places.
