PSA: I have noticed issues with salvaging over the last 36 hours since releaase.
THIS IS NOT a false alarm. I know some items say "Additional items such as Infused … Scraps may also be aquired.
But in this specific item that stated differently.
I have played about 10 hours between yesterday and today.
I salvaged about 50-100 items so far, and was noticing very very few perfect salvages (3 in total)
It felt like some items were specifically bugged, and not giving salvage when they should, or not giving salvage when they have a CHANCE to.
Not sure on the specifics, but I decied to document a proper test.
Please see the following post for very clear proof that it is not working on an item that specifically states it will salvage into an “Infused Arcana Scrap”.
Wording on the item when hovering over salvage states “Salvaging this item will return 1 Infused Arcane Scraps, 0 Repair Parts, and 3.00”.
Hi there,
I agree, i have same toughts here:
I have salvaged 30-50 items so far, some where named items from Lazarus/Genesis and i did get 0 (none) of scraps or infused fragments yet.
I decided to stop salvaging until further notice/bug correction.
I’ve been salvaging all weekend and so far have no perfect salvages. It is either broken or the chance is too low to be worth anything and they should raise it. Obviously you don’t want it to0 high, but at this rate it feels more impossible and useless than anything.
Its better that way if the increase the chance for perfect salvation by time, instead of giving all of YOu 1000 pieces on first day.
And by the way, 50-100 scraps? What is 100 items? I get 100 items from 2 hours run here and there, and You call it value test? Maybe let’s wait for amazon statement before You make all your stupid theories based on pathetic numbers.
I would understand if You guys made 1000 salvations, and result was 3 perfect salvations… But You get it from 100 items, and this is too low for You? Sure, let’s add another item which will be worth 0,0001 gold after one day, cause everybody is fullfilling market with it …
what kind of logic is that?
I agree too much at launch would be a bigger problem as there would be no going back.
But please watch my video.
I’m talking about an item with a guaranteed fragment not being given.
This is different from most items with state “may” receive a fragment (implying it’s a chance)
