Wait periville is no longer an elite zone? That was one of the better areas because it was more easily accessible and there were so many world bosses in one area. You could drop your armor and actually get a challenge for yourself.
They removed the NPCs “Periville Guard”. Now you can’t even complete the epic weapon quest. (and you can’t abandon the quest so you lost two slots in your 20 slot journal)

I noticed one of the places in bright wood south west was changed as well. Was hoping for a 1 v 3 boss battle but the gates were closed and locked and now there is only one guy in there with a fire staff. And I’m thinking. This kinda sucks.

Ah, I know why they are pulling low level elite areas. AGS is selling boosters like weapon XP boost and the low level elite areas were a way that that booster would have been negated. This is simply hour padding to push the sales on boosters. SHAME!!!

Thorpe spawn in gc was way better.
Your talking about the commander? In the tent just south of the main gateway to shattered mountain? That’s not thorp.
No in Great Cleave. there is a Spot ( slightly above the Boarder to Brightwood )
where u can summon a solo Version of Thorpe and 4 Waves of Monster.
Roughly 3,5k weapon exp in 4-5minutes

I found some of the Guards- 4 of them in fact. Killed each of them numerous times but the never dropped the intact haft so the quest can’t be finished and there’ another msq that requires this one be finished first. So… dead in the water
