When AGS has a clear, and public system showcasing bans, i will 100% support this. until then, use the pitchforks to convince AGS to be transparent about the ban system.

People are probably still making IRL $ off of dupes from a year ago.
I would go further. Ban the credit card used from ever being used again. The name and address banned. Steam could get involved but they are afraid to lose money and if you are legit banned from a steam game you get banned from the platform. Enough is enough.
They should add “crafted by X” on crafted armour/weapons and on trading post it should show the Sellers name imo.

I guess they can’t because the lumberyard engine is so duping friendly that at some point everybody will dupe something.
Unavoidable, unfixable.
They should just port new word to UE5.
they also need to ban REGARDLESS of any twitch/youtube streamer status. if they participated in the exploit they need to be banned. I would argue that streamers need to be held at a higher level of accountability as their actions basically tell their viewers its ok and results in even more people participating in such exploits.

I hope they create Fresh Fresh Start Servers. So players can start over with an even footing.
Perm ban wont help and people can still spoof hardware if ip or hwid ban
Also you cant ban all the people who received gold/items that were dupped cause no evidence
Dupers already sold the stuff or gave it away for free you know

and there is no way to get the dupes out of the game … if they are sold or given away already. you would need to take it away from innocent people and eventually ban then LOL
I agree with this completely, need to take a hardline approach on this issue early to ensure to protect the player base doing the right thing and enjoying the game as intended.
Great point! Twitch/Streamers are basically game influencers and should be held accountable for their actions.
it takes them weeks and month to ban bots, why u think they can handle dupers?
Probably not! But knowing people have duped and cheated before and only got temp bans I felt compelled to make the thread.
Oh alternative. Create an exile faction and put them all in it and they’re all able to be killed by normal players anytime, anywhere but can’t even attack back. Sounds fun.
How do you know if anyone has ever been perm banned? There is no evidence.
Don’t underestimate the impact an entire week of cold turkey can have on an addict!

Oh, no. The last year dupes have all been sorted out in the meantime and legacy servers are clean now.
Said some legacy player trying to force merges between FSS and legacy
