Like everything else on the island, they are immortal, kill them as many times as you need to, they will be back after their nap.

I agree that they are pretty well designed, but the only thing I feel bad about killing is the “wooden stag” because you can start to chop it in his agonizing dying animation and that made me felt brutal the first time. Oh and the friendly white bunny of that island that can be pet.

Nah, death to the bisons, these beasts have single-handedly wiped many a group clearing corruptions in Reekwater with their needless ramming.
They deserve nothing more than to be turned into furniture!

I agree with the petition for: Bison, Rabbits (of all kinds), those Peacocks but Turkeys are open game! The bison in this game are so beautiful and well designed and the way they roll around on the ground is pretty awesome like they do RL. 
By calling only for the protection of Bison, the premise of this thread is speciesist, which makes me very upset, and should therefore make you very upset for making me very upset, all of which is very upsetting.
But the root of the problem is that there’s just too much bloodshed and death in New World in general, and thus the only responsible thing for AGS to do is to disable all combat and prevent anything from dying, whether Bison, Hippos, other animals, monsters, NPCs or players. Also, they must prohibit gathering or lumbering, which murders plants and things, and mining, which murders minerals.
Only such bold, radical action can finally break the pedals off this endless cycle of violence and give people the chance to do what MMO players want most: to care and share and talk about our special feelings.
Should AGS be brave enough to end the senseless, relentless slaughter at the heart of New World once and for all, we may well witness the dawn of an exciting new age where players, NPCs, animals, plants and minerals alike could come together as one in a beautiful game world and stand around talking and emoting for hours on end.
What could possibly be more wonderful than that?
