Extend the event till brimstone sands release plz <3 @Luxendra @Kay @Aenwyn
They have already extended it once already. It was originally suppose to end during August. Don’t see a real point in extending it by another month and or month and half since no date been said for brim release other then in october.

Might want to consider double xp events or something too.
It’d be a good move. Brimstone’s probably not releasing until late October maybe? The PTR’s not even up for it yet so we have a bit of time in between.

while I’m glad you had fun (I did too - got 200 fishing on my alt, got that sparkling trophy up in my MD house, and sold a lot of patterns playing the trading post game) but we won’t be extending the double xp event or the Summer Medleyfaire. This just gives you more to look forward to next year, right?

Yep, I completely agree with @Kay here. The Summer Medley Fair was a blast, the Devs did a bang up job. I can’t wait until next year now! Now, ON TO THE WINTER FESTIVAL! Hopefully we can craft similar patterns (600GS and the Uncommon Patterns) like we could with the Summer Fair. That would be so awesome. Plus I miss the music in the towns during Christmas. I always smiled when the music would play in town.

New players need some kind of exception though sadly mmos are not quite there yet.
I was a good event, but it’s worn out its welcome like a guest that stays too long.
It seems there is a sizable influx of new players right now – something else to get them rolling might be great. A double XP weekend, or 2x gathering, or something else.
This is really poor customer service given the ques this weekend. Alot of folks didnt make it in to cash out tokens.

If any, NW devs set the bar in terms of content and communication. Its about time CM’s start to weed out toxic and negative people for no other reason than just trying to piss on everything AGS does.
The event was extended over a week, Servers will be fixed/added.

Really trying to not be contentious but i really dislike the fishing in this game. Fishing isnt just standing there and reeling in a fish. They swim left and right and many times by the shore you have obstructions to acoid getting your line caught on. So allowing some element of free movement to avoid a snage would be a great change to make the fishing tolerable. There is other types of fishing like bow fishing and spear fishing too. And considering the blunder buss has a net option, that could be something to look into as well. But until then, the fishing event couldnt end fast enough.
It also brought forward players playing in towns and just skimming off the tope of peoples unaware crafting or mission pickup activities because the tip button was mapped the same as the interact button.
i have planned for 30 minutes of play tonight, i might get 0
this could be an argument to extend event and i would announce it sooner than later to avoid building up a resentment towards this decision, as everyone wants to exchange their tokens
lets end this event on a high note ( pun intended )
Sorry, as Kay mentioned above, we aren’t planning to extend the event.
Oh no please! The event has lasted too long already for my taste. Events should be something exceptional not lasting forever.
I am getting tired of porting to each and every city and if i don’t I fear I am missing out. I though have long stopped that fishing thing.
