They say on the page that the package is available until November 1 and it turns out that it is already disabled
“The first pack will be available starting on New World’s September 28 launch, and can be claimed until November 1.”
“The second Pirate Pack will be available beginning October 12 and can be claimed by Prime Gaming members until November 1.”
I’ve always learned until to be exclusive. In other words, until November 1st would mean available up to and including October 31st, but not including November 1st. And I know in practice it’s often used ambiguously, but personally speaking I’d rather always just err on the side of caution and take it that others would use until as I’ve been taught and grown accustomed to in most deadlines I deal with myself.
Well, not per se. I mean, why not write ‘before November 2nd’ in that case? Obviously non-ambiguous writing is to be preferred. Before xx or up to and including/up to but not including would be ideal. In practice though, until is just often used. Probably because it’s short. But it’s not always clear.
