Describe the issue you are experiencing: While using the “lock to surface” on the shelf of a chimney, the object can continuously go down, on the lower floor, or even underground. It can be placed at any time with a yellow indicator. If placed underground, I didn’t find a way to select the object again, but it is placed.

(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Apart from using decoration spots for items that cannot be seen/removed, none, but I did not try to further exploit this.

(if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: I think I had 3 items locked underground before writing that, but you can add a fourth one which is the one on the screenshots xD. I don’t really care for now. I still have a lot of space available and they kinda were junk items anyway.

I tried to redo it lower again but it went into the floor (of the lowest level), the item cannot be highlighted again, and I don’t have access to the fondations of the building
so further screens will show nothing but the floor

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
- Go to your house in front of the chimney.
- go in decoration mode with lock to surface OFF for now (lock to grid doesn’t seem to matter)
- move an item on the shelf of a chimney but do not validate its placement (Easy to do with a bottle, but works with other objects, as the screen shows.)
- activate lock to surface
- try to drag the item away from the chimney. It will go down, and will go through the floor. Since it’s always yellow, you can place it at anytime during its descent.
Depending on the inclinasion you got when activating the lock to surface, it can go either down or sideways. It’s quite funny to look at items flying out of your screen when trying to place them
