Players are NOW getting Banned by random players and companys, Companys are MASS reportING OTHER COMPANY leaders and banning for no reason just to remove there competition, Players are mass reporting other players for selling in game Earned tools on global chat, the Banning system is being ABUSED and honest good hard working players in Game are getting banned for Apsolutely doing nothing wrong!!

Yesterday I spent a while trying to sell my Orichalcum tools, I was reported multiple times simply because I had TTV in my name, they tried recruiting people to report me so that I would “Appeal my ban on steam”. I worked hard to get 150 Engineering and 200 Mining, I put tools up for sale on the Market, and then proceeded to sell a specific set of tools in Global chat because they had Luck/Yield on them, which made them valuable.
I was mass reported because of trying to sell tools to people in Global chat (there is no trade chat yet). Every MMO allows you to advertise the sale of your weapons/goods through a chat. The majority of people used Global to advertise, I joined in and was banned. They PM’d me several times harassing me and making fun of me because of having TTV in my name. I didn’t care what they had to say, I just wanted to sell my tools. But they banded together to punish me.
I recall there being a post on Reddit about “Ignore the posts regarding bans because most of them are cheaters”. I somewhat agreed with this statement before this happened, and now I realize mass-reporting is becoming a trend to screw people over. It happens during wars as well to get rid of opposing players. Any help would be appreciated, I submitted my appeal at 4am, its 1:23 PM now and no response.
If they don’t unban me I quit. I put a lot of effort into this character.
I was banned for using Global as trade chat, people hated me for having TTV in my name.
I also have TTV in my name, and have gotten harassed and ridiculed multiple times from people in Global and Faction chat because of it. It’s gotten bad enough to where the leader of the top company in my faction will constantly berate and insult me any time I try and chime in or join a conversation stating “he’s just looking for clout”. Which leads to his other company members also joining in on the harassment, along with threats of having them mass report me to get me banned.
I’ve reported all of them individually and have since blocked that company leader, but they’re still on every day grinding away at the “XP loot caves” and harassing other members of the faction to “get to max level as fast as possible otherwise you don’t care about the playing the game”.
I’m at the point where I just don’t talk in any chats anymore for fear of just being mass reported by these people. It makes a game a lot less fun when you’re forced to ignore the community aspect of an MMO
I am sorry to to hear about the bad experience, please report the players that were abusing the report system, we take those reports very seriously because it affects everyone inside the game, for the appeal we work on them as they are received so hopefully you should soon hear back from the appeals team.
If only streamers weren’t forced to give their characters a name with TTV in it. Alas, they are bound by cosmic powers beyond their control and must suffer one great injustice after another forevermore as martyrs for Twitch. Illum oportet crescere me autem minui.
Or, y’know, stop using a system that is being abused by toxic players? A simple mute feature would suffice, you’re fostering a toxic community being run into the ground fragile minded cry bullies.
Why were people reporting you than, if you weren’t chatting in a bad manner than what reason would people have to report you, I’d prefer to true story if you banned.
I think the current problem is some companies are mass reporting there competition because they don’t want competition so that’s how they get there competitors suspended, usually it’s the leader of the competition company, also secondly is people are reporting other people for stupid things like having TTV in there name when there is nothing wrong with that, twitch tv that means, it’s not harassing or anything in any inappropriate manner, so that is just ridiculous. devs maybe should consider putting a player on Mute if they are to receive a suspension, or ban, first muting the player and letting the player continue playing the game, and keeping the player Muted for 24-48 hours and having a real human investigate before an official suspension or ban, this would make players a lot happier instead of a bot just outright suspending from players abusing the report system.
