You romanticize about what could be, but continue to be let down by what it actually is.
AGS, you guys have the foundation for a solid MMO… it just needs about another year in the oven, where the devs can sift through all of the feedback gotten since release (I.e. beta 2.0).
Your ability to rapidly identify game breaking issues and properly sanction those who exploit them are lackluster. You state that you can track those responsible for abusing exploits in one message, but then ask for their names in another. This does not instill confidence.
Uncle yeffe needs to put his foot down. The negative press is ubiquitous. You wouldn’t lose much on new sales by taking it off the shelf now, and in turn the game’s lifespan would be prolonged. The cash shop would suffer somewhat in the short term, but you would make up for this with new game purchases in the long run.
As for weapon balancing issues, I know you guys are devs but have you actually ever play the game? If you did, you would see that some of these recommended PTR “tested” adjustment to weapons etc. are a literal farce.
Like I said, great bones with questionable execution. The community at large wants to love the game, it’s just hard to see through the fog of bugs, exploits, and void of endgame content.
Have at’er fanbois;)
