Nightveil is a cool event but who wouldn’t want to unleash pumpkins on a herd of hippos? This autumn event could be greatly enhanced by having hippos!

hippo should be the real first raid. hippo armor set and mount as drops. hippo armor set bonus unlocks swimming.

Second to humanity, the Hippo is the deadliest animal on Earth.
Every year more people are killed by Hippos than any other animal. They’re extremely deadly and have been known to even attack small towns and villages, sink boats and kill everyone who was on-board, and smash into homes to wreck havoc.
They’ve also got NOTHING to do with Australia. If you want someone to do an accent for talking about them; hire a voice actor from central Africa.
Seriously… Hiring an Australian… might as well hire a Korean - it’s equally on point.

Perhaps we advocates of the hippos have missed something in making our voices heard. Perhaps the AGS team have an irrational fear of the Hippo. Perhaps they fear the inclusion of hippos would be so wildly popular that they would no longer be able to appear as humans on the monthly Dev Chats and instead would be replaced by animated Hippo avatars instead.
I think that maybe we need to re-assure them that we will not let hippomania replace all that they truly hold dear.

The team is well aware of this fact! But it’s helpful to make sure all of our supporters are on the same page.
Have you not enjoyed Steve Irwin growing up or as an adult?! I feel like he would be a great inspiration. I suppose we could get someone from another nationality though. All for different approaches such as choosing to go with the hippos place of origin of that’s your preference?

At a minimum, if we can’t see Hippos as a normal creature in the game, you would think a special event boss as a Hippo would at least be possible. Who wouldn’t vote for a Hippo boss over a Turkey boss? I mean really.
