Been clearing portals a ton for the leaderboards recently and thought to myself. What if they had a rare chance for a corrupted hippo to come out at the end. The heck is this corrupted ELK?
It would be nearly impossible to balance but if they make it rare enough then it won’t be that disruptive when players need to ditch that portal because it cannot be closed and create a 10km quarantine radius around it

I know we focused heavily on shirking fort meta, elemental aversion, fire staff, bruisers, but honestly… Imagine how hippos would shatter the current meta.
