Hippo’s are the number one killer of man - I’m all for it. Every time I’m gathering along the shores of some creepy lake I think about the scene in Lord of the Rings when that tentacled water monster attacks. Mu hu ha ha! Of course, swimming might be useful as well.

I’ve decided that this thread need to escalate it’s tactics. We need to @Shadow_Fox to ask this directly to Scott at next Dev video. You need to make firm eye contact as you ask the question, “Why are there no hippos in the game and when they happening???”

One consideration to help them is the location of the Hippos. They tend to populate around rivers but it’s occupied by crocodiles at the moment which might make it not so worthwhile to replace.
Maybe in-land lakes? What do you guys think?

Also what about in Brimstone Sands when you reach a river after wandering the desert for hours only to be blessed by a majestic hippo basking in the sun from inside the water. It may or may not be named Charles.

Having hippos in oasis seems like a good idea. But else it does not have to be a common mob but all elites with the ability to swarm once one is attacked.

I had the dream again… Where I was petting a hippo in a Brimstone Sands oasis only to be jolted awake. @Kay. I then woke up in a pitch black room with the sounds of cars passing by my window to realize it was only a dream. I promptly grabbed my pillow for comfort and held it close, feeling that sinking feeling in your chest as if you lost something that you can never get back
