We really need some sort of limited way to respec territory standing. I’ve agreed with people for a while on this topic, but never more than now… I just accidently passed up one of the +5 furniture cards in Ebonscale, where I plan to have my most decked out home. Yes, yes, I realize most people will think this is silly. But man, did that one sting. I noticed as soon as I clicked and audibly oofed and winced. Even an “undo” option on your last choice would be great in case we get trigger happy and choose too quickly like I just did.
Having a respec be something you can only do once per quarter (or something else along those lines) could help avoid abuse. Or even maybe being able to earn the ability to reset just ONE card set every once in a while to clean up the big oopsies. A lot of people have made mistakes and the fact that they are so permanent is really a bummer.
No, it isn’t. The cap is 300 standing and the choices aren’t randomized. If you don’t take a card, you miss the card.
Because of my mistake, I will always have 5 less pieces of furniture in my house than I could have had if I didn’t mess up and click the wrong one. And there are many, many people who made the mistake of taking things like XP gains instead of cards that are actually useful past the initial leveling rush for continued QOL in late game.
At the beginning, long ago, we didn’t knew wtf we were doing so most people chose gathering speed, standing points, crap like that on random territories without understanding or knowing the long run for the game.
Most would respec to lower taxes on hub towns and standing/faction points on places they usualy run pvp missions, etc
I for once, would like very much to respec my points.
