Having a filter system like they just put in the TP that searches all storages would be incredible. I know they said months ago they were working on it but it would be nice to get an update.

Yeah seriously going through the bags for gear sets is just not fun. Also if we throw good gear into the box, its impossible to know what gear peices we have unless we go through the entire stash.
Why can’t we just search “lost ward” and have all gear with lost ward perks show up??? We NEED this AGS!! please.
Even better would be to allow us to tag put gear sets into named groups that we can search over…or just put on with a single click. NOTE: individual pieces of gear must be able to belong to multiple groups.

Agree with OP, and also ask for ability to save full loadouts. Click a button and it equips an armor set, respecs weapons, and puts in certain attribute points. I have different gear for laz, gen, corrupted dungeons, heavy armor vs. medium vs. light for each, almost every type of gathering and refining and crafting… thank goodness I don’t pvp or that would add to the number of gear sets. It’s crazy.

I have so many items in storage sheds all over the world and I have just been waiting for the addition to filters like on the trading post. It is so incredibly time consuming going through each storage shed and finding all my light gear with lost ward that I can use for a dungeon. Then need to find some gear for a corrupted portal if I might run a new spear build, but I just spend way too long going through my storage trying to find the pieces I know I have.
I have about 4 storage full of great pieces for all different content but its so much easier to just hold 1 or 2 sets and run them constantly.
Can we get an update on this because it was added to the trading post, surely the filter system can just be applied to storage and storage sheds.

Being able to filter our stash would be the the biggest QOL improvement, I literally spend hours having to hover my mouse over like 1000’s of bit of gear looking for items for a set etc, Stash management in its current state is total bollocks, I’m lucky to find what I seek in 30minutes of searching where a search filter would have given me the item I need in 30s of applying a filter like TP, I cannot just filter on say Glove because it then ignores the named items etc The current way of looking for stuff just really sucks and is clunky this needs urgent fixing imo. Also having something like 10 pre-set save slots for Armor loadouts would also really help in smoothing the inventory management experience.

I wonder why the devs don’t have this problem. Surely if they play the game they would see how frustrating this is not to be added
Not a programmer but wouldn’t it simply work just to allow the search function to also search in item tooltips instead of only the item name?
Bumping this, as someone who literally has about 50% of ALL 15 available storages locations filled with weapons and armour even being able to search these in same way we can now search the trading post would be a great start.
Having significantly more functionality and control of inventory management would be very useful ion a couple of particular areas:
Inventory gear management: Being able to create and save loadouts would be awesome e.g. all of the crafting / gathering /fishing sets as well as PVE/Luck/PVP/ and various expedition/mutation sets.
Storage management: Being able to more quickly find things is vital - I spend more of my available play time searching through storages for an item with just the right perks than I would like - it should be a matter of seconds rather than a ten minute trawl every time. It should not detract from the game experience in the way it does and is going to put players off that come to look at game from other MMO’s
An alternative option would be to reach out to the mod community and see about allowing a 3rd party inventory management addon as is case with WOW/RIFT/ESO and many many other MMO’s.
BUMP is this ever going to get fixed or what? Spent 2hrs searching my stashes today, what a waste of my time when with proper filters I could have found what I needed much faster.
Even better would be to be able to save / load gear presets.

This continues to be a major issue, forever searching my stashes for stuff, I really hope the Dev’s occasionally read these forums for QOL improvements.
They could add at least that filter from Trading post to work in storage 
And would be nice to make One Big Storage, instead of few smaller then
so you can craft in any city you want, from materials in any city laying
Yeah and also they should give us the option to buy more chests to add more capacity to our storage.
Still no updates, do devs even read this?

I’ve just come back to New World and this honestly is the #1 annoyance in the game! I have so many sets and sometimes I just want to give up and not craft, when I have to sit there and sort through my gear looking for the right perk/items. Bump!
