Please allow us to get off the soon to be completely dead event servers the second the event ends. Yes the servers will soon open to the public, but we would have to be kidding ourselves to think there will actually be a new influx of players looking to join a dead server where half the people in it are leaving to go back to their mains or to other games.
Half of the people on the event servers (which is a very low number to begin with anyway) are returning players who came back for fresh start in addition to the event.
The server I have been on (Titan) has NOT been a good time (for many reasons), but the main one is population.
We just put in the time for your event and got nothing personally in return for it (other than the skin drops people who werent even in the event get) and are being rewarded by a dead server and no option to transfer fresh to fresh.
Please please put the control in our hands. I have friend on another fresh start server I would love to be able to join and start actually playing this game for real rather than farm linen and rawhide all day long for 3 days. Why are you forcing us to stay???
And before anyone flames me with “You didnt have to join the event server” line…no I didnt, and if I chose not to, the server would have had one less armorer and 20k less starmetal for the event.
I put my work in despite not having fun. Please let me server transfer to a FSS of my choosing when the event ends!!!

They need to allow it for the returning players who played in the event. Its insulting to us. There arent more than a couple hundred of us, they really cant make the exception so we can stay playing the game?
Im not going to keep playing New World on this dead server that has been corrupted by the event, or a merged one with a 50% armorer rate.
It’s not about making an exception, it’s that the code is likely not finalized yet. Imagine if they made an error in the transfers and older servers could transfer to Fresh Start. It would be a disaster. I imagine they’re working on it as quickly as they can.

Well if thats the case then there isnt much I can do about it. Until I know if it actually IS the reason though, I am going to keep politely asking them here.
saying “Event servers are just private fresh start worlds that become public on November, 18.” adds nothing of value to a post that literally acknowledged just that.
