Nay. Games won’t die because of rampant gold dupes. Happened in Black Desert with the SMH thing and it didn’t kill it. What kills the game is the game-breaking bugs persisting and lack of content.
Many of us stopped playing and are literally waiting for fixes here.

SMH was so intended that they nerfed it to the ground, and buried it never to be worth shit again.
it’s not even just the gold dupes its the fact every aspect of the game from the bottom to the top is riddled with bugs or not working as intended
i played black desert on SEA for 3 years in the top guild 12 hours + a day i know what im talking about

The devs who known about the dupe exploits for months are a bunch of DONKEYS!
Literally says nothing against the fact of the resulting state of smh. Even if it was ‘intended’ then it was a mistake they had to fix cuz it wrecked the economy and causing gold sale outside the game.
im not even talking about the economy in this case the entirety of NEW WORLD is broken show me otherwise lol
first, relaunching is what would kill the game… no one wants to level to 60 and do tradeskills again…already have 250 hours in launch, not doing that again…
second, none of the bugs in the game are something that can not be recovered from, the gold dupers will be banned, that money removed. And nothing to do with the weapons etc… break the game.

True. I’ve been well-aware of all the bugs. Even the scandal of the client being authoritative, which turned out to be not the case. I am happy about that. But we are sure there is great incompetence in ags team. Sadly.
But there is hope they can fix the game, eventually. Might take a year+
Not like it is uncommon. Plenty of MMOs have seen relaunches after shameful launches and/or horrendous designs/exploits.
Don’t get my wrong this game is fun but sadly it’s unplayable in its current state
But very few have been successful. The last one I can remember is Final Fantasy XIV.
what other options do they have here?
after one month it’s quite clear they cannot get on top the bugs or even fix them at the rate they are appearing.
these are not graphical bugs or minor errors i am speaking about GAME BREAKING bugs which render the game unplayable 
Sighs… I can’t entirely disagree. I mean, some people can still have fun. But others like us can’t ignore the problems enough to play.
