From time to time it is interesting to read threads at the forum:
There are a lof of threads âeconomy is broken. We canât sell anything, âŚâ
Now there is something you can sell, because it is rare, because there is a demand.
That is not ok, too, items should be more common.
What do you think will happen next ? Again a cry for âthe economy is brokenâ.
My Conclusion:
First, of course it is ok if some items are that rare that people compete about it.
Second, it is not possible to make it righjt for everyone.
You canât take Void Ore out of the game. As sad as it sounds, Void Ore is endgame content. For normal players, it is a long-term way to acquire enough Void Ore.
People actually constantly mine ori ore so much on my server that every ore is between .2 and .6 each, except ori ore which is sitting at .02 each lmao.
Bind on pickup is the worst thing in this game. Idk why AGS did that, thatâs terrible mechanic that u maybe something very rare and all u can do is salavege BCS u donât like some kind of weapons like life staff musket or all other items.
In most cases voidbent is not best in slot. It has a 50/50 split so you can craft armor with higher phy or elemental using recipes with better perks to boot.
Well, you can craft the light and medium Voidbent armor but their attributes kinda suck for their classes. Well, Medium has Dex but light has Str.
Edit: Read lower and saw your other comment. Youâre right about that.
No one runs dungeons because the effort for doing so is too damn high and the rewards too damn low.
Overworld Boss farming has an extremely low incentive - only 2 groups can run around at any one point doing it without incurring massive penalties.
Chest runs are a once a day thing.
Outpost Rush on most servers have 4+ hour queues if they happen at all.
Crafting requires such an insane amount of materials that it feels pointless - trying to make a profit is hopeless.
Harvesting has such low rates on the stuff you need that you can spend entire days and not get what you need and all the stuff you donât need donât sell.
Breaches are mindnumbingly boring and the participation system means that very few people get rewards in places such as Myrkgard - forget about being a tank or healer there.
If you havenât noticed⌠Everything in this game is timegated to such a degree as to prolong the absolute lack of content. The worst part of it is - we have told them since Beta that it would be major issues if not fixed and it has not been fixed.
So you want to limit the ability to craft the voidbent ingots only to people who are capable of dropping it? So you want to force people to go out and mine ore for weeks in best luck gear to drop 5x void ore, get 5x void essence somewhere and then what? Skill armoring up to 200 so you can craft it?
This would drive people away from the game. The whole idea that this is all tradeable on any stage (ore, ingot or the armor itself once crafted) makes it available for everyone regardless of their crafting or mining skills and their playstyle. I know some people will NEVER go out and mine ore for weeks. Not even for hours. They play PvP or run dungeons and get enough gold to buy it. Or they do trading only. Or they craft something entirely different like jewelry and they have no intention to even touch armoring. They can buy the armor. And jewelcrafters have enough money to do it
Nope then i have a reason to do so. In guild wars 2 they go even further there you need a explorer legendary which is charackter bound to you account/charackter, there you need to explore the whole map before you can even do something, its called some hardwork for some good gear. Yes i did twice and i love it.
