I am a gamer who happens to also have a Prime subscription for many years. Amazon Games has made a great game and has hyped it to Pluto and beyond. We had several Betas to play with many players.
Please explain why the Network team at Amazon Games couldn’t at least attempt to make launch day something Positive to remember instead of Negative. Having infinite queues when trying to login to your wonderful game isn’t Positive. Also, it seems like the streamer accounts have been flagged to let them bypass the login queue, or at least the speed of getting in.
I and several friends made it our mission to log in at 0700 CST on the NA East side. Depending on the server, we all had a login queue. While waiting in this infinite road to nowhere, we decided to roll on a different server. Viola! While this is great, some of us were disconnected by the server, or some left to do real life stuff. Upon returning, BAM - stuck in the queue again. -SMH-
What happened to the 10k maximum per server we were told about during the betas? What about working a fix? Neverwinter has a ‘map’ system. It has layered instances of the game. Thus, login is managed better. Amazon games, you knew there would be a huge influx of players on day one, the fact that nothing was done about the potential server queue issues is not Acceptable. You are a multi-Billion company, not some fly by night operation. Your reactionary decision to implement more servers and then offer free transfers does not fix this. We are still dealing with the same issues. Or are you telling us to delete our existing characters only to then recreate them on a different server EVERY time we want to play?
Please listen to this community, fix this please. I do not want a refund; I just want to play your game…
Thank you, A Concerned Gamer!
