PLEASE FIX - Make Keenly perks/Keenly Empowered cooldown unique to weapon

In the most recent patch, it was made so that the buff from proccing the keenly perks doesn’t persist through weapon swaps.
Previously: you could proc the keenly empowered buff, swap weapons and get extra damage on the other weapon.
Some people have an issue with this change as it takes away from the weapon combos you could do i.e. limits variety. But this isn’t the point of this post.

The issue is - they made keenly perks unique to the weapon. WHY ISN’T THE COOLDOWN UNIQUE TO THE WEAPON TOO? If you have the keenly empowered weapon perk on both of your weapons, it’s pretty much wasted.

If you proc keenly empowered on one weapon and then swap weapons, you aren’t able to proc it on your other weapon until the cooldown from previous weapon has ended. The cooldown from one weapon shouldn’t effect the other as keenly perks are now (meant to be) unique to weapon.

I feel like this is a simple change that was overlooked. Please can this be fixed ASAP? It’s frustrating for players who invested in their weapon perks, just to have them not working properly.

It seems like the CD is being applied to the player rather than the weapon.

They made this change to make the perk weapon-specific, so it wouldn’t carry over. Cooldown should be applied to weapon not player then. If it’s a case that this would take the team a very long time to fix, then REVERT THE CHANGE TILL IT’S DONE RIGHT. SIMPLE.

A broken change shouldn’t exist.

It’s ruining the perk for people who have this on both of their weapons and constantly swap for combo. Saying “just don’t run the perk” is a cop-out.

Completely agree. If the buff isn’t persistent through weapon swap then the cooldown shouldn’t be either.

Personally I think they should revert the change. I think most people are unhappy about it.
