Many of us transferred to active medium pop servers to avoid queues, but the game is hemorrhaging players so fast that the active server I transferred to now has a population of less than 150 at prime evening gaming time.
We cannot advance or even play the game beyond fishing. We can’t even harvest because our banks are full of items which don’t sell—because nobody can get a t5 station completed before invasions.
DEVS, HELP US HELP YOU! It’s incredibly difficult to hype the game to new players when we can’t play with them because we don’t want to doom them to a dead server.
Please, I am literally begging you on behalf of what community you still have. Please release the transfer tokens immediately so we can build the game and keep this from failing.
Ps. I have Amazon Prime, a house full of Alexa devices, and I order everything I can’t get at Costco from Amazon.com. Loyalty needs a reward. (For those reading that part, that was meant to be some comedy).
But seriously, WE NEED THE TRANSFER TOKENS ASAP—not some vague, maybe by the end of the year, guess.
heres the problem if they allow transfer token purchases the company wars will go bonkers faction balance will go out the window on the few surviving servers that are left. they need to merge all the dead servers together so that the ones doing well on their own aren’t effected.
No. I don’t want a merge. I have friends on other servers I want to get back to. They used their transfer after we used ours. The sad thing is, we vetted the server, but it took a huge hit just after we arrived as folks transferred out.
Now, we have a server selected and we all need to get back together.
A server merge might help you in your situation, but try to understand that not everyone is you, and we all have our own unique situations we face.
Thank you for your input, but sadly, I can’t follow that advice. Plus, they stated already that transfers would happen before merges.
if that’s the case then i’d say just start a new toon. Sucks you invested all that time but hey maybe if your original server ever takes off again at least you’ll have the time invested into it already.
Too bad about the time you already spent on that character but why should the people of the server you are transferring to have to suffer so you any others like you can join us?
They promised a second round of transfers because they valued players being able to get together with their friends.
The game is about wars. They have a system in place to control balance in transfers. So there is no evidence that transfers would have any negative impact that you mention.
the evidence is that our map used to be completely purple, now it’s only two spots purple. greens transferred in and told me they were storming our server which is why i went marauder. then yellows transferred in afterward to push the greens out. by enabling pay for server transfer all you do is incentivize companies that live in the shadows of larger companies to pay for mass transfers take over servers they think they have a shot at which may be profitable to AZG but in the long term will kill server stability.
Again, not going to follow your advice. You fail to understand that transfers will happen. I’m asking them to speed it up.
You have no idea what you’re talking about when you say that servers will suffer. Transfers will bolster active servers and help them to identify the dead servers so that merges will have the least impact.
Stop trolling. I’m glad you have your happy server. But I did spend time with my character and progress. I’m not going to start over.
again, you fail to understand you have a viable option available, make use of that second character slot, all the time you spend on the forums demanding AZG enable another round of transfers could have you a brand new toon on a happy new realm with all your friends but your too lazy to reroll because you are accustomed to the blizzard way of doing things.
spoilers they won’t do it and they know they shouldn’t because they tried and it didn’t work it made things worse so to repeat the same actions would be text book insanity.
Sounds like you need to get better at playing and not try to faction change to ride on the coat tails of better players.
But as I said, transfers are going to happen, and they will happen before merges. That much, the devs already told us.
But “by the end of the year or shortly after” is too vague—and frankly too late.
We need to move now. Or players like you can keep suggesting things that will make players leave the game and you can see this one close like crucible.
i’ve only been on one faction, marauders, i did research and saw olympus was a highly populated realm with a really cool name, unlike you i didn’t even need to transfer once. i heard that marauders were taking over so i placed my bets on green and won again so i didn’t need to roll an alt on another server like you probably will if they choose not to merge the servers.
Also if you got better at playing you would just roll a new toon instead of coming on here like a goonie placing blame on AZG for your own lack of foresight.
merge is limited to specific world sets that consist only few servers. If all of those servers are low population servers, then even after merge instead of having dead server, you will end up having upgrade of population to ‘somewhat dead server’ at best.
