Please Give us an answer On Copyrite strikes ASG support

it means you are oficially part of their creator program. english.
now step aside, kid, the adults are having a conversation

Better effort on the trolling next time.

Maybe you can put together something actually comprehensible.

So if I understand correctly, a content creator created content about cheating. Labeled it as cheating. Made a playlist called “New World Cheats”. Then he got in trouble for making videos about cheating?

Why are we mad, I am missing the issue I think.

it is called being a part of creator program , but ok mr, adult , gl simping for ur " official creator " who’s official creator’s job apparently is to teach his 2k followers how to exploit

You make a lot of assumptions though in your argument.

We don’t have any information on why they did what they did. We have literally no information other than.

1 video got a claim on youtube and that claim was by Amazon.

Anything else is pure assumption and isn’t even worth arguing.

exactly , the dude culd 've just taken video down , but instead he is trying to enrage his 2 iq followers to fight for democracy and freedom lol , pathetic

No one knows the exact reason he got copyright striked, and the guy’s video is back up… so this is a real nontraversy™ at the moment.

This thread is legit spam, because the matter is closed.

Never mind the fact that AGS support would have absolutely no clue as to why some random YouTube video got hit by Amazon LLC. AGS support do just that, provide support for the game, not YouTube copyright processes…

I really hope this is a troll thread, because otherwise I feel extremely embarrassed for the OP’s ignorance.

That is true.
But that is the problem right there. Just the way they don’t give any info on what happened. This is clearly a hot topic atm so its definitely not going unnoticed by them. I would be happy with a “he did this, this and this wrong”
For all I know is they strike his video that is not about cheating, in a support ticket.
I’m not saying they legally can’t do it, I’m just saying that that way they did it is really scummy

Ahh pure  time, feed me salty trolls. .

edit: still dyslexic as old dog crap

Isn’t the evidence that Amazon removed the claim that they don’t find issue with the video?

whait what? they removed the claim?

The video has been back up even before the OP made this thread.

The assumption that AGS did anything here is not evidence of anything.

All we know is the video is back up.

We cannot get anything useful or actionable from that.
It doesnt mean AGS did X or Y. It doesnt mean they do or dont have an issue with anything.

It just means the video is back up and this entire bunch of hooplah was a waste of 1s and 0s that got some random youtuber some clicks.

y’all been played people.

LOL it was not until recently that the devs asked for exploits to be reported with direct messages to CMs. Prior to that, they just had everyone posting exploit reports and videos on the publicly visible forums.

This is what AGS promoted and now they are upset? LOL.
No, it’s not about exploits being publicly posted on youtubes. That’s been going on a long time.

well then that is the answer I needed. that for me is enough of a “we f’ed up, sorry”.
Time to move along then, at least for me.
Glad you said that, I didn’t know the video was back up. Thanks.

You must be really entertaining at parties

Awww you’re getting lazy now. I suspect a pay cut from 10 cents to 5 cents a post incoming. Beef it up son.

If you were following closer, you would know AGS has already confirmed through multiple media outlets and of course the ToS you agreed to. Twice. Using a bug for personal gain or advantage is unequivocally an exploit. Just like every other online game.

How am I getting lazy?

I admit I put low effort when dealing with trolls.

I’ve been following this whole thing, and this is a good take on it.

I had been thinking, with regard to the storage exploit (or “exploit” depending which team you’re on), that the storage thing is not intended. There has to be a way for legit traders to manage their inventory, which is why the storage limit was left untouched the way it is currently. People are taking advantage of this. There’s no real solution to limit exploitative behavior without punishing honest people. I don’t have a solution, but my personal opinion is that this is the issue the devs are struggling to resolve.

No one was supposed to be able to power level crafting in this way. This is WHY some of the changes to crafting were made in the first place. The intention here is all over developer notes. Changing the overflow mechanic would punish people that DO use the system as intended. Using the overflow mechanism to power level crafting obviously goes against what was intended, whether you call it a bug or poor design or whatever, we all know what the intention is. Don’t pretend we don’t.

This is a case where a bug was discovered BECAUSE of an exploit. Storage was never intended to be used in this manner. As a result, it wasn’t thoroughly tested that obscene amounts of xp being gained all at once to exceed the rate of progress the devs INTENDED to see at once. The system broke.

Our streamer of the week shot himself in the foot by shoving that into supports face, then being rude, then making a HUGE stink. How this all shoulda woulda coulda been handled by everyone involved is beside the point. As a known professional in this field, our content creator should have known he was being borderline in his behavior regarding the “bugsploits” he’s using in his content. He took a risk, and got nailed for it. He learned a lesson. I’m sure AGS did, too.

I feel okay knowing they gave a streamer seriously pushing the limits of bugs and exploits a fair warning to be more careful. Then they let him go. Message sent, delivered, and heard. It’s not about reporting a bug. It’s about delivering content responsibility and promoting the spirit of the game- which is not to take advantage of an issue with no obvious solution. He wanted attention, he got it, and hopefully everyone following this gets the message, and he will be more careful in his judgement of what’s helpful and what’s pushing an exploit- like finding a bug he should never have encountered in the first place due to an exploit, and spreading it around everywhere he possibly can.
