Then there are 7 servers in ALL of New World that would be considered healthy. That’s a major problem right there…
you’re not wrong. What I mean by healthy though is that lag is minimal and it “feels” like an mmo as in towns bustling with people and there are things happening basically everywhere you go. servers with like 600-1000 still feel fine. They just dont have that “massive” feel. which im fine with personally.
really it comes down to the tokens being unobtainable.
yeah if a popular server gets locked then it sucks. big time for anyone trying to get in on what would be a healthy community

having free/purchased/more tokens would at least let his entire group decide to move out to a lower mid population server.
the people getting sick of dumpster wars on orun or cos could also chose to leave and make a diffrent home
Yes there are economic implications as usually when a full company moves they will first scout out a new server, buy up EVERYTHING in the existing server and mule it all out.
but those fluctuates happen all the time and it evens out in the end.
honestly 1 per month server transfer tokens. or just let people purchase it. should be fine.
for this case his crew can at the least return to their original servers or try a diffrent server that has a bigger population.
dead and lower pop server people that are sick of stuff can also chose to move into a healther one so we can have more than 7 total healthy server… maybe 9 or 10. (still not good)

You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar. Should have stayed still and waited for the merges to shake out. Transfer tokens are ruining AGS ability to fix the populations.
I had people at their witts end ready to quit my server was so dead. I was afraid we would fall apart and just start playing other games. We had to take a leap of faith. Unfortunately, we put our faith into the wrong thing.
I completely agree with this statement. If free-range transferring isn’t possible, a monthly token would help this game tremendously. That would fix so many problems and issues people have with the game. It would also help ensure servers all keep the same relative prices.

This is kind of ironic to me because there are many in CoS (see other posts) that would really love it if people(such as yourself) would actually stop trying to get in because they don’t like Q’s and they don’t like how laggy it is being on a full server, but here you are wanting your enjoyment at the expense of others I guess.
They have the ability to leave do they not? Its not locked preventing them from leaving? If they don’t want to be in a high population world they can move servers. You are using a strawman’s argument.
It’s like driving a car in the passing lane, if you don’t want people lining up behind you and honking at you, move out of the way. Right now i’m being blocked from even entering the passing lane.

Everyone was given a token from the 15th to the 22nd. there is absolutely no reason why someone who has been on castle of steel for a while does not have a token.
And no I didn’t cause the traffic jam, its people that aren’t driving the speed limit (the people you say who do not like such large population)
If i made a post complaining about queue times after transferring then flame away. Right now you are just being rude for your own enjoyment for some reason.

probably because they weren’t thinking that everyone and their mother was also gong to the same place. Or they just didnt realize that 1990 people online means the server takes a poop
Orun and castle of steel degenerates are just pissed they have to compete for land now and their server is slightly laggy. big whoop this MMO has negative funding at this point and the development team can’t address an issue within a single timeframe. New world gets fixed within the next month or the playerbase is gone and dusted.

Slightly laggy? Idc about the constant fighting for land but you want to sit there and say slightly laggy? OPR is 80% slow motion during peak times. Dungeons Goodluck if you can get through it without massive lag during peak times and wars… well that’s a whole other issue right there.
Maramma is locked now. Now there is no where to go. I was hoping my stuck friends would get the free round of transfer tokens like they got in EU for when a server locked. But nope. Still stuck. Still have not been able to play this game with my friends. Still have not logged on for more than 5 minutes.
Please amazon im begging you for help. I will do anything. Ill pay the $40 again if you can just let my friends transfer out of Castle of steel if you guys are never unlocking it. PLEASE HELP ME
