Only thing better would be ranked MM with elo, but that is toxic af and we already have a problem with toxicity without it.

Since the most recent exploit was patched, almost every single OPR I join, at the start, is an even paced match between the teams. There are occasionally a steamroll on one side or the other, when the various 5-stack groups get placed on the same side, but the balance has been a lot more even lately, in my experience.
What server are you on? I come back every now and then just to check out the state of the game and I came back again this week. So far I havenāt seen any difference in the number of steamrolls. If anything it seems like you are waiting longer for one to pop. But at least now you are getting some reward even if you lose.

Of 9 matches today, only two werenāt complete blow outs on Castle of Steel. Either 1000 to <200 or the other way around. Itās been awful for the last 2 weeks. I agree with the OP, right now OPR is unbearable.
The only reason I keep queuing is because you can get the opr crates faster and hope to get a lucky bis item. Faster blowout matches = mentality infatuating but more loot faster.

Update the current OPR map so itās not only better but matches the current game, balance and weapons. Make us a new map (GOOD ONE), and rotate them.
Make OPR queue have balancing.
Make 10v10 PvP mode (like arenas but larger maps, smaller than OPR) for pre-mades. Use this for leaderboards and scratch leaderboards for OPR.

When I experience steamrolls, I usually only see 5 - 6 players out of 20 actually fighting. The rest, I donāt know, arenāt even at spawn. It seems like they are hiding to avoid reportsā¦
For me 2 things would be crucial to get better OPR
They just have to swap mode to work differently. Allow no premades in some hours, max 3 man premades in other hours and only 5 man premades in next hour. With proper schedule you can adjust to play way you like. It does not make sense to put solo, duo and 5 man premades into same bucket.
Premades are a big problem. Once premades are in OPR, solos no longer get a heal as melee. No heal for melee ā>range metaā¦
On Abaton(EU) 1 out of 10/15 OPR match is actually enjoiable/balanced.
1- There are too many ranged players.
The team with more ranged will loose the game.
If u are a meele in a ranged team you gonna suffer the
entire length of the match because ranged player cant
stand on point.
This is leading to Meele and Healer to just AFK after
getting their poinst, because if u are not ranged in a
ranged team its ablolutely not fun to play, futhermore
every match like this bring the unistall button closer
then ever.
ITs 10/20 minute of just dying because your team is
only ranged, so its fair for healer and meele to just AFK
because if the devs arent doing anithing, at least the
players can.
2- NON-existing MatchMaking system just agrravates point 1, in an endless loop of frustration.

This is the 865th thread about complaining on OPR, and the dev NEVER moved about this topic, the only sure thing we know about OPR is cross server coming in 6+ months.
You should stop making this topic with 60 recomandation, no one in charge of this game will read it.
Spare your time, and the next time when you want to complaing about OPR, alt + f4 and go out get some fresh air, it will be 50 time more efficient than typing on forum.

Been on this forum just over a year and thereās countless suggestions/complaints about opr.
Aint nobody listening.
And if they are, they donāt value it high enough priority.
Iāve personally given up with this, because the devs are going to do what they doing anyway regardless of whatās posted here.

They need to do/say something. Get the ābalance changesā up on some kind of post letting people know whats coming to PTR etcā¦
There are other games advancing their release forward. One in particular is going to be a direct competitor and itās currently looking like an approximate April release.
So I played a heap of OPR tonight and it seems to go one of two ways.
Way 1
Opening has everyone run to the centre. Thereās no clear winner as people are even matched.
Way 2
Opening has everyone run to the centre.
One side will get wiped. The winning team will push on to the opponent fort, cap that, cap their fort, they start getting the opponents spawn camped and get the 3 fort bonus and game is done in a couple of minutes.
Literally not worth the effort of queuing. You literally spend almost as long queuing as playing.
It is insane there is no mmr, there is no team balancing. The enemy can have 5 healers so they will have a never ending supply of healing, your team could have one or none and if you do have just lost. it is impossible to fight in a melee in the middle of 4-5 people, even with a healer you are basically dead (except of course for the light armour rapier ice gauntlet users who somehow have magically never ending stamina and the second you approach them they just run away until your back is turned and then go back to their shitty ice gauntlet.
Overall terrible game mode and it is a literal coin toss as to whether you will have a good game or just get stomped (and you will only get stomped you will never be in the team that triple caps in the first 2 minutes).
