It’s not just the starting area its the whole darn server that has and excessive que to log back in. I tried to log back into the game at 2:30 pm Eastern time, and I am still in que now at 5:18 pm Eastern time. 
This is ridiculous. If this continues for much longer then I will not be playing this game and will be asking for my money back. I will also be going onto all social media and posting a complaint about this issue. There should have been a player quantity cap that was set to all servers. And then if there turned out to be more people than slots the player quantity should have been adjusted accordingly. You should have had a reasonable amount of idea of approximately how many players to expect, and set that as the starting player quantity count which then could be raised across the board for all server by whatever quantity you deemed necessary. I was loving the game in Closed and Open Beta, I am extremely disappointed with the game now only because of the long wait time to get in. Time is money and time is precious. Player should not be expected to waste any length of time to get in to play a game that they have paid money for. It has already been 3 hours for me and is looking like it may be another 3 hours. This need to be fixed immediately!
I’ve been hit by this twice today, its a real pain. Strange queue priority bug that one. I’m waiting to see what the update is they seem to be getting scope of this now

I have the same problem here, can not connect since 1 pm on Asgard. My character level is 3, and after reaching 1st position or <10 in the starting area queue a few times it always fails with an ‘unable to join queue’ message. I hope this issue will be fixed tomorrow or even before!

Now my hubby is screwed though. He got frustrated and tried to start on a new server. He deleted and now he’ll have to start over and requeue

I am stuck in the Que as well. I sat through it all then got an error message of being unable to connect. Now I am back in same que. No matter what I have tried I cannot get to the “main” que I just keep getting put in this one. Are there any answers on how to fix this?

I was playing and exploring wilderness and game crashed. I immediately relaunched the game and I was sent to 1520 position in a queu.
I would have understood game kept you in game for some minutes if you were battling. but it seems same fate awaits for everyone.
I really hope Devs do some improvements in this issue.
Yeah… Since 10 AM CST. I got dc’d at 10k. Had to go back in. Wife was right behind me and now at 8472.
Guess I’ll go to work now.

Edit: Before anyone mentions joining a ‘streamer server’ I want to play on a server that is going to have a healthy PvE/PvP Community in a months time… Not be dead low pop server.
