I returned to the game, and transferred to a German server because it had the lowest population (1500/2000 at the time), now the server is full and there are 1 hour queues…
Is Amazon opening new servers, or are they waiting us to quit again?

been qued for 1 hour now in Castle of Steel as 1 still not in. But the great sword is bring people back and brimestone sands. I been playing the ptr great sword is awesome redone starting quest and area amazing just need to redo the rest of the zones and tie the story the game would bring back and have more players starting to play .

Merges were stupid idea per say they needed to merge some but they went mad and merged nearly everyone in to only six servers. Now loads players gona come back they will have to open more servers again hope this is lesson learned for devs. Keep at least 10-15 eu servers open at all times and I like the low pop servers so do many so not an issue
Amazon games, i have no idea how you are thinking, reducing the amount of servers ( thus the amount of players that can play simultaneously ) and then announcing your new update that will bring a lot of people back to the game ( If randoms like us can predict it, how did you not see it coming ? )
Why have you done that. I was sceptical of how the game was managed at launch, but combined with this kind of decision, i really start to believe someone or some people in the ones taking this kind of decision are doing industrial sabotage at this point. ( Or the person(s) in charge of server related things have absolutely no idea of what they are doing, which is a huge concern.)
Please the community wants to play and not sit in queue for more than one hour in prime time. You need to either increase server capacity or add more servers.
This can not last, this gotta stop really fast.
1/3 of the people who wants to play gotta sit in a queue, how is that ok ???

Take it to the bank AGS! You guys are doing things right! Let’s keep it going by adding more servers please.
Idk what the solution is, but I just wanted to add to the consensus that this is insane. No number of in-game improvements will solve anything if returning players get stuck in day long queues with incorrect numbers. People will immediately uninstall.

Made a post about this when they did the merge at the beginning of the Medleyfaire Update.
How can you possibly entice people to come back to the game just to sit in a queue?? Itss great seeing people want to play, but when AGS made server transfers easier why did they think it was okay to Jam worlds together? The people in those servers obviously enjoyed their server if they weren’t leaving it…
Increasing server pop isn’t even a good solution because the world is too small for many more people to fit in it. I don’t have the answer but PLEASE STOP THE QUEUES.

The servers should be at 4k cap. Its beyond pathetic.
Imagine you quit the game shortly after release because of server que. Now imagine you seen a new update/zone was on the horizon and heard the game was doing better so you decide to reinstall to log in and check it out only to find, a que…
2K is already too high. Any server at current cap needs to be split and players should be given free transfers between the two new servers for a few days, for everyone to get settled.
No its not. If they did some server & client optimizations with brimstone zone added, they go could go 3k easily.
And adding servers will just put us back at the problem they had 8 months ago … empty servers and people bitching that only interaction they see are bots…
The wait to get on Castle of Steel is absolutely ridiculous. I am a regular player and play daily and all of a sudden I am stuck in queues for upwards of 30-45 minutes and it is very frustrating. Please do something about this.

There is now currently a Q of over 4 hours to get on to play on Orofena and over 1/2 an hour for Valhalla which is where both of my toons are. Some people have limited time and would like to be able to play!!! Please fix this so we can enjoy the game and convince friends to return. They said they would but then when they also saw the wait times they said no thanks!
Didn’t they confirm mounts were coming? Also, bugs are an ever occurring thing for any video game.
Tonight’s update, here is a good one. According to NWDB, there are 1400 people in queue for Orofena That is a whole other server worth of people, waiting to play.
This needs to be a top priority issue.

We dont need splits and AGS already ANNOUNCED on twitter there will NOT be any server splits.
We had this problem on SA for about one and a half months. Lots of ppl complaining here and on tickets, and we were mostly ignored the whole time.
I dont even try to log in anymore, just keep my eye for a solution in the horyzon before giving up for good.
