Outpost Rush absolutely is zerg only, no one is ever hitting multiple outposts. This is my very constructive reenactment of how Outpost Rushes go.
1 person cap close outpost, ZERG mid, ZERGSPAMAOESHOOTTHRUDOOR, BARON ZERG! MID ZERG! ZERGSPAMAOESHOOTTHRUDOOR, BARON ZERG! MID ZERG! (sometimes one team is just awful and you camp spawn)
It’s a very very very shallow experience. Maybe resources should do more for less? I’ve never seen the repeater built, SOMETIMES people build the doors, basically all the mechanics they want us to use …are like everything in this game …grindy and not worth it.
Heck throw in a high end elite chest that goes active 15 mins in at the resource areas, i dunno. Something that splits people up.
Resources are already a heavy influence, that’s why they got nerfed, if it’s a brawl of 19v19, that’s not a zerg lol, go look up what a zerg rush actually looks like on SC
They aren’t though, you couple that with terrible animations from the summoned NPCs and it’s easy to just …ignore them.
I’ve only see one cannon summoned in all of my OPR’s.
It’s literally just, zerg to the middle, mosh pit, and from there whatever. What needs to be put in place is small timers and announcements throughtout the match like “2x resources near dryads”, “2x azoth at portal”, but not have these same events each time so it mixes up the dyanmics.
Right now it’s just some weird half baked MOBA-wannabe mode.
