i dont have many problem with archer/musket in arena but in open world. Distance is problem. Ice spike is good dmg skill, FS/IG mage a bit lack of dmg without it but maybe I will check also Pylon as You said.
Thats what I wrote and I keep posting to change musket damage on huge distance. Leave it as it is on mage range, but no class should be able to snipe people from 250mā¦
Actually mage range is quite low (i mean normal attack). Archer is more and musket is world wide.
Nahh Archers are ok yes they have much higher range but its not hard to get closer. But musket in OPR/OW pvp content is pathology, they are already strong in 1v1 and arenas (with correct skills), I have no idea why Devs to allow for hits from 250m ⦠in MMOGAME, it is really bad design. In the end when I see 4-5 muskets in enemyās OPR team I just leave this match and q again ⦠I reccomend you always do the same.
Yeah this is an issue with dex weapons wearing light armor with infinite stamina and iframes. Hopefully they donāt have their crutch forever
Yesterday in the evening match one guy on Caer Sidi Invisible on sth like that did 66 kills, on full mortal empower stacks⦠I had 14/15 deaths where he killed me 8+ times⦠4-5 hits and I died now it was not an aimbot surey he also missed a lot but still I had no idea from where those shots came from xd Secondly hard to look around when you have to also fight with othersā¦

Since when is fire staff + blunderbuss even considered being a mage? Especially since that combo only used fire staff to get empower stacks to 1 shot people with bb?
FS+BB is not standard mage in my opinion. This build shoul be still good because BB have great burst even without any secondary weapon help. FS+IG will suffer probably.
But how will it suffer if you dont even use ice gauntlet for dps? You just cc with it and very rarely some people may have ice spike. Fire staff is meant to be for dps and the empower stacks stay thenā¦
But FS alone is not enough dmg, especially after efficient burnout nerf (if it will hit for real).
And FS lost 25% dmg from utlimate chill.
Im not sure where you see the efficient burnout nerf, its still 19% and 33% extra damage depending on whether you have the perk on armor or your weapon. But its literally a damage increase on your next attack only, so it doesnt even matter. And fire staff deals insane damage especially nowadays when everyone is using thrust gems.
If You are right then I will be a little less worried but i saw this changes on some Youtube film about āshadow nerfsā. Few days to patch, lets wait and see how it will be.
On new world database it shows no difference, and the 2 videos i watched about the changes didnt show any effi burnout damage nerf either. The video you watched had an error

As a Bruiser I agree, Fire Staff is the last weapon deserving a nerf.
