That’s because Orun has turned toxic as F***.
Other top population servers that went through the same mega server buzz, castle of steel and maramaa are dealing population loss as well and it’s literally in order of the time everyone went to the respective server, orun was first and at the lowest 1000 as of writing this, CoS 1200 was second, maramaa 1400 the most recent transfer hub.
No matter where you go on the internet you are going to find toxic people, it’s how humans are unfortunately, no one server is going to be gum drops and rainbows. people are dicks you will have to accept that when trying to play an online video game, block them and move on. The one thing you can help is not be toxic yourself by generalizing a whole server of people. Respect works both ways and why would someone try to be nice to you when you come off like that?
Maramma’s was going up, actually. They just locked it a couple days ago.
There’s toxic people everywhere, yes, but not to that degree. There wasn’t that degree originally and there wasn’t that degree when servers were first merged into Orun.
Also, give me a break. Calling the server environment what it is isn’t being toxic. You can name something without being a participant in it.
half of the people on orun got banned for duping dont blame the devs for the greedy people on your server and now most of them are crawling back to there old servers i think its hilarious

All I know is this is the first time I’ve wanted to play a game (that a lot of people no longer want to play) and the actual developers are preventing me from being able to do it because my clan is on Orun (natives not transfers) lol. I’m not even trying to transfer…I’m just trying to create a new character. This is crazy.
I would LOVE to have a que to wait to play, if that means when I log in I can actually play the game… PLEASE GIVE ME QUEUES

Don’t look now but Pluto has just overtaken Orun for concurrent players and it is NOT a locked server. When is Orun going to be unlocked?!

Yeah half my server just moved to pluto even tho our server was active and felt healthy from a PvP standpoint even tho only 400 peak. 5-6 of the largest companies up and left basically killing pvp/OPR on our server. This transfer token crap is a fiasco. Everyone thinks the grass is greener somewhere else.
@Luxendra @TrevzorFTW you’re not doing anything to Pluto? This doesn’t fit with the standard of lock everything that starts to get an actual player base. Orun has 400 less players online than Pluto atm, and ohnoo has 100 players less than orun, both are not locked. I don’t know how you could possibly show how much more you don’t give a shit about a player base than this, you clearly don’t give a shit about the players you’re locking or the terrible rules/system of locking servers. At first I could understand why you would lock a server that is filling to much but I actually have zero belief now that you know what you’re doing or care for your players when you let this shit happen. You going to keep locking servers till all are locked? Or just drive players on locked servers into insanity while you miss handle another server until you kill it, What a joke.
Totally agree. Pluto is now the server with the highest concurrent players and is not locked. Orun looks like it’s actually dying now. March 1st was the last day Orun peaked at 1900 players…now it’s about to drop below 1000. Unbelievable…
Bump for unlocking server or for merging smaller servers into us or offering us a way out.
I really want to move my character from Ys to Orun where one of my friends is on and their friends… ^_^;
