Literally the weapon cannot be used, and with the new stam changes. You just get CCed liek crazy after a riposte in any scenario of more than 1 person.

Honestly? I think it doesn’t need it. In a 1v1, you won’t need that nice little invulnerability save. I used to proc my berserk to get past riposte stuns but those good hits they get ignored. So, its really just a nice way for me to have a small chance to run them down as they try to flee.
Because I’ve only fought two or three people in pvp who actually used a rapier as a weapon and not like it was a bottle of lube and slip and slide to escape. Maybe for exactly one hit. But not on a timer.

the rapier can be used very well, just not by unskilled people i guess
(i suck too much to even consider using rapier)
but i’ve never relied on using fleche/evade, fleche is just a lame skill imo from the very beginning

No, no one uses it as a offensive lol.
Everyone uses it as a escape and they already did a nerf on that, but then they decided to effect riposte. go try it and let me know how it goes. Im talking to AGS here not you.

i have come tow ork, and eve nskipped my work outs to stay on the server lmao, but honest to god the riposte nerf is murder for my playstyle, and honestly murder for rapier itself.
Rapier got literally no sustain or tracking compared to every other melee in the game. Honestly though if you got a small group of people that are chill i might switch over when i get BiS lol.
Seems a lot of the big company’s came to my server, they need people for war to, just need to have a heart gem of meta Joice to participate. They are chill but no one is in discord unless it’s war nite. But yea rapier is pretty poo now.
Its pretty frustrating the assumptions made in these forums.
But oh well.
I enjoy some PVE golden scarab hunting if you down for that. rapier can still be good in one world but 3s i need to redesign my build. unfortunately. Maybe musket and sword and shield, or try to find a way to add int.
The issue is gotta change factions for PVP though lol.
