If a GA/WH bruiser takes out entire groups of people who are less skilled. He’s super skilled and praised.
If a healer gets ambushed by a group of less skilled players and survives, he is “low tier trash abusing mitigation”

It doesn’t even need to be said that if they slapped DPS with a -30% damage in heavy, these forums would literally be shooting sparks out of the servers trying to keep up.
I agree that not nerfing it at all would be best, but if they insist on nerfing heals, than it needs to be universal. After all, this is a “classless game”, yet healers seem to be the only “class” that’s being forced into traditional MMPORG roles.

Lol you can still heal in heavy armor. You will heal less but if you seriously need so much armor because you’re incapable of dodging then you dont have much choice. Medium exists as well. But overall i dont understand why it matters as in pve you have a tank that takes agro ![]()
Then make the same apply to DPS and see how it feels when it’s on the other foot.
I don’t even use heavy armor as a healer and I’m still against this because it’s only effecting one group of people. It’s only pigeonholing one kind of player.
It’s for PvP when healers unwillingly turn into tanks because we get zerged when people notice we’re healing.
I don’t use heavy armor anymore but I do think it’s should be a viable option. The point of having 3 different armor types to choose from is so we can have real build choice and variety. This change will get rid of that. I think Light - 30%, Medium 10-15%, Heavy 0% is a better idea. No need for the change they’re making. It’s too much.
DPS already get no damage bonus when in heavy armor. Also in heavy armor your dodge is a literal step so you lose a lot of mobility. No one uses heavy armor as a dps because of that
That’s currently how it is with Heavy for a healer. The problem is they’re going beyond that and instead of a 0% change to healing with heavy, they’re making it -30% healing, so the total difference from Light to Heavy armor will be a 60% reduction in healing.

Heavy armor healers have never been invincible.
Heavy armor dps arent invincible as they cannot stand still while spam healing themselves. Heavy armor healers currently require 3+ people attacking at once to kill them. It is stupid ![]()

I still stand by that if there is going to be negative heals for heavy there should also be negative dps for heavy.
