Pls could we get the ingame store updated to always have every skin aviable or some kind of event where we have the chance to buy all the skins we been missing out (maybe make it possible for the one year anniversary. I would aswell want to be able to buy “Gender” change in the ingame shop.
There is so many cool skins i wish i could get but they are gone since there is only 1month time to get them. We have no transmog in the game and its very booring to not being able to buy any of the cool skins.
Never going to happen. You sell more skins with the artificial urgency of limited availability than you do leaving those skins in the shop indefinitely. The shops purpose is to generate revenue in place of a subscription. So whatever actually increases revenue now, is always going to be the preferred implementation from a business perspective.
I do think, it would be nice to be getting new stuff in the shop every month at a minimum though.
make no sense to me, imagine if 2k players have all skins aviable for purchase at all time. They might buy it all at some point. How are u making more profit when u remove them and bring new skins. I will speak for myself i didnt buy skins for months cuz all the late skins has been looking rly bad imo. So if they had the old skins aviable right now i would buy alot of skins, do u get my point ?
You clearly have no retail or marketing experience. You realize you can take a canned good that is 99 cents each, throw them on an end cap and mark them 2 for 2$. People will spend two cents more and stock up believing they are saving money buying in bulk?
Digital assets have no limits only those you put on them. But people will buy things they might never use believing they wont have an opportunity to buy them again. So you put up big flashy promos and say “Limited Time” and rather than getting a trickle of income say a few purchases a day for the next six months instead you get several thousand purchases in a week.
Everyone knows that item will be offered again but they buy it now even if they otherwise wouldn’t because they dont know when they will be able to buy it again.
Even now… theres a skin you want your waiting for…when it comes around again you might be in a money pinch but you’ll find a way to buy it because you’ve been waiting and dont know when it will be offered again.
It’s all very well thought out marketing psychology.
