The mobs they added were all ranged mobs, they aggro and hit every time. But good luck solo/duo.

Yes of course! It is disrespectful what they are about to do. That they create a new level of GS, but don’t mess with what has already been acquired by linking it to a new stupid and boring grind.
It’s going to become exactly what we expected, a pay for convenience grind fest instead of catering to the large amount of people that objected to their shitty changes in the first place.

Same here… i chose the exact same way too play and is spend so much gold for voidbend from TP… Now my gear is worth shit… I could have baugh faction gear instead of spending 25k gold for each voidbend piece of gear
Spending a fortune on a gear set in an MMO after release was stupid from the beginning. It’s quite obvious that gear isn’t gonna be BiS forever. And when that happens, you will have a reason to complain about wasting 125k.
It was your choice and you should have to anticipated it’s only short term gain.
Btw, you say it takjes 25k coin for one piece of voidbent. That makes 125k total. Well, I earned 80k coin in the game only via leveling. I didnt have to do nothing, just play casually with no focus on farming or crafting. Making aditional 45k would take me how long, a week maybe?

People like to be overly dramatic for no reason. They claim they spent a thousand hours grinding to get their max 600 GS gear but can’t take a week to max their expertise, which can be done by doing almost anything lol

It remains that they are willing to set players back arbitrarily, this is the same as them wiping servers to get rid of duped/rmt. I can’t trust the management of a game that is willing to do that to players.
If you chose the crafting path for gear score, you need to spend all your time getting the 2 x10 x4 legendary mats for the time gated crafting materials. That doesn’t even consider void ore and other rare materials. That was a legitimate path, according to the devs, that will be ruined in 2022. Again I cannot trust devs willing to do that to players.
To get watermark the majority farmed in a way that should have been shut down quickly as an exploit. They should reset watermark for everyone if they lower gear score for anyone (again I wouldn’t trust developers willing to do this).

What about needing high craftingskill to repair your items back to full durability. You know how to fight but have no idea how to build or repair a weapon.

Yes, me and my wife will both quit if this goes through.
And I’m honestly happy about it. We’re very casual players, together we have 388 hours into game and we’re enjoying pvp, and the only reason we do is because we could buy competitive gear. Have no time to craft or grind.
I know one more couple that was playing with us and they’re on the same note. As for our company of 122 players, we are quite sure that 84 players are going to quit if this change goes through and 12 already quit just because AGS is even considering this.
Why am I happy about it? We’ll have more time for each other, its almost Christmas time and my wife started to take the game a bit too seriously.

I’m waiting to see if this makes it off the PTR to live before quitting. But the fact that this is even an idea that’s entertained in any way shape or form, whether it makes it to live or not, has burned all trust I have in AGS. Even if they go back on this change, the fact we got so dangerously close to them undoing player progress like this, its’ far too worrying to ignore.
